I thoroughly enjoy traveling to new coffee shops in the North East; this one is essential. If youre a nerd and you enjoy some better-than-your average deli food and drink, this is the place to be. Its sort of stashed away on the right hand side off the Pike, was almost ready to turn around because I thought it was a shop that had gone away and just hadnt synced up with the GPS yet; turns out this location has only been up for about six months. The owner, Tom, is a swell guy who retired from serving our nation and is more than willing to make sure you have the best possible experience at his new store. The "canan" was a fantastic sandwich, coupled with the "potion" (a mix of espresso and a caramel macchiato that packs a flavorful punch in your mouth). The atmosphere is fantastic! The front of the store is a welcoming cafe with more than enough room to sit and enjoy the myriad of board games lining their walls; the rear of the store looks as though it can fit 40 some gamers comfortably. I cant speak to how this store handles pre-releases, or FNM events, but Im hoping their quality of service, displayed at the cafe, crosses over into successful, and well-coordinated, gaming events as well. All-in-all, I have no complaints what so ever with this establishment and would highly recommend it to anyone.

If you are looking for a place to have a quick lunch or coffee, and get a chance to play games at the same time, this is a great place to go. The board game selection is perfect. He has them nicely categorized into their respective difficulty levels and number of players so people who are still new to the wider world of boardgames can easily choose what they would like to play. The staff will also happily teach you the rules of any of the games. If you are into more serious and heavy games it is also a great public place to meetup or schedule a game. My only complaint is that I wish the was a way to get a pass on the cover fee to play games, or at least a lower price, if you order a certain dollar value of food or drinks before you play.

This place is fantasic. I got the latte and turkey provolone. The latte was rich and effective. The turkey prov. is delicious, it has this wonderful cranberry mayo that made the sandwhich. The atmosphere is so chill, with a very wide variety of games and you can even buy Magic the Gathering and other games. It encourages interaction with people instead of being stuck in your phone or watching TV. The owner, Tom, is friendly and will answer questions about the food and games for you. If I could give this 10 stars I would. Best Cafe in PA.

The Game Table is AWESOME! We went there with our 2 kids (12 and 15) as well as a friend of ours and her daughter (14), and EVERYONE had an amazing time. The small cover charge is well worth it. There is an expansive selection of games to choose from and the staff is friendly and willing to help you learn any games that you arent completely familiar with. The food is delicious and the overall atmosphere is just very relaxed and fun! Do yourself a favor and check it out...you wont regret it!!!

The game table Cafe is the best place for not just Gamers but anybody looking for something to do. Its great for families who want to play together. And its not just about the games either. You can get great food and great coffee at really good prices. I recommend you stop by for lunch to see what its all about and then come back with friends in the evening to play some games. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help whenever you need it. Theres no reason not to come.

Such an awesome, unique concept for a cafe! Theres a HUGE number of games to choose from to learn how to play, and everyone was so friendly, staff and fellow cafe-goers alike. The staff bring your food right to your table, and will actually teach you how to play any game youre not familiar with. The food is a little bit pricey, but SO GOOD. Definitely a place worth visiting if youre any kind of nerd looking for a fun, judgement-free place to go or are into tabletop gaming!

I love this place! My partner and I are here all the time. When youre an introvert who works 60 hours a week and youd much rather go here than stay at home, you know a place is special. The staff members are always friendly and helpful, the food is devine (especially the caprese panini and the croissants), and the prices are reasonable. My partner and I got annual passes ($100 for a full year) within two months of the cafe opening, and its more than paid for itself.

I thought that this would be a cool place to meet some new people to play Magic: The Gathering with, as it was advertised to have an active Magic community every Tuesday and Wednesday night. What was not advertised was a $5 cover fee! I went with two friends on a Tuesday, and not one member of this fabled active community was there! They had the audacity to charge us a fee to play Magic by ourselves, which we could have done for free at Panera! Not cool.

Wonderful, friendly staff that have absolutely bent over backwards to help me and make me feel welcome. When they found out about my food allergies they added products so that they could make substitutions for me and made me feel like I was helping them by bringing them up instead of vice-versa. This has become a home away from home for me and Ive learned several new games that Ive fallen in love with because of their recommendations!

The Game Table Cafe fills a niche most people dont realize they need - the come by, hang out, meet with friends and play board games meets coffee shop. In addition to dollar Wednesdays, this place has a slew of other cool deals and activities that makes coming here often fun. If you love board games, card games, puzzles, or just want a great place to kick back and hang out with friends, I definitely recommend the Game Table Cafe.

I cant get enough of this place and Im looking forward to when I can arrange board game meetups with my friends on a semi regular basis. The owners are friendly and great to chat with. I havent tried the food yet but that will be changing soon. Its just a very welcoming atmosphere and its much better than the local game stores that Ive been to. I look forward to seeing this place grow and evolve.

Great drinks, great food, great prices, and great games. I meet new people every time I walk in and everyone is friendly. This isnt a clique place at all. If youve never played anything beyond monopoly and clue and wanna try all these new games popping up, or just want a comfortable place to have a coffee and read a book, this is the place to do it!

My favorite place to grab a bite to eat and play a game with friends. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and always excited to teach you a new game or make you a lovely sandwich or coffee. They also stock a decent selection for sale and will help with recommendations and preordering with the same enthusiasm. Its a joy to visit this place!
