I came to Cafe Uovo with high expectations -- multiple of my colleagues and friends had mentioned it as a good breakfast place and I wanted to try it out. Going into the restaurant, my first impressions were about how small it was -- with only a few tables, its cozy to the point of almost feeling crowded. You order up at a counter with the fairly large menu offerings displayed behind the servers -- theres something for almost everyone. My fiancee and I went and got an omelette (for myself) and an "Autumn Benedict" (for her) -- or at least, thats what we ordered. My omelette came out okay. Tasted good, was a solid breakfast, nothing out of this world. Her meal tasted pretty good too, but it wasnt what she had ordered. They had substituted an entirely different benedict from off the menu without our finding out about it until we were more than half done. I personally dont eat meat from certain animals for religious and cultural reasons; I considered ordering the Autumn Benedict myself because it had turkey sausage. The Item that was subbed in was made with chorizo (which I dont eat). It wasnt a huge issue for my fiancee but would have been more so for me had my order been messed up in that way. The [I presume] manager did try to address the situation by giving my fiancee a free meal in the future but the combination of solid but not amazing food and the confusion with the orders makes me less likely to come back here again.

Confusing service, long wait times, reasonable prices, great food. I went with a friend on Sunday. They got us a table quickly and took our drink orders right away. It took almost 10 minutes for someone to bring out drinks, and a total of 15 minutes for the waitress to come take our food orders. We actually had to go inside and ask to place our orders, and the waitress responded rudely. Also, they dont tell you that you have to pay inside afterwards and theres no room to stand in a line, so theres this awkwardness of being cramped up in the middle of a bunch of other people waiting for take out orders, while you have to dodge people trying to walk past you. The business itself seems very disorganized, I hope they improve their management in the future. The food was wonderful though, we got savory crepes.

Excellent Spicy Eggs Benedict prepared with chorizo, avocado and a Chipotle Hollandaise sauce. Eggs were perfectly poached. Im a bit of an eggs Benedict snob so to find this little gem makes me very happy! :) The only thing we werent pleased with was the hard peaches in the fruit bowl we ordered. The owner noticed and mentioned to us as we were leaving about the less than great peaches. I appreciated that he did, but it would have been nice for him to offer to reimburse the price for the half eaten fruit bowl. BUT, that will not keep us away! We will definitely go back. Everything else was great!

Nice little place with indoor and outdoor seating. Their fresh squeezed orange juice was very good as was "The Uovo" which is their eggs benedict. Only thing I wasnt impressed with was that the food was served on paper plates. I just found that odd and kind of half-assed. To me that is acceptable if youre getting pizza or hot dogs from a street vendor but not for a sit down meal at a cafe or restaurant. Our waitress was very pleasant and helpful and the mens bathroom was fairly clean as well. Overall I would recommend trying this place at least once.

Food is excellent - Cute little café - we went there twice and we sat outside both times - based on my first experience the second time around we ordered everything at the same time - half of the order made it the other half was never put in the "system" - we had the same waitress both times and although she was really sweet she was very disoriented – we asked for cream and she told us oh yeah its inside and walks away, no - I’ll get it, no - you have to get it - nothing. Better trained staff would give this place a 5 star hands down.

Menu is simple yet OUTSTANDING! The foods are incredibly fresh, as in, not canned, etc., but really fresh. Very pleased at the cleanliness of the cafe. The staff was nice, attentive and clean. The prices were about what you would pay at any area restaurant. Great area for this place. When passing by, Uovo always has customers. Nice outdoor seating, also. We will be going again.

First time here, all six of us had a really great brunch for Fathers Day. I had the Degas which is a unique Eggs Benedict with avocado and Swiss, it was great. My daughter had a "bowl," which was a bunch of veggies and eggs, all delicious heathy food, in a bowl. Great place for brunch, we will be back.

Food was delicious, small but comfortable atmosphere was impressive as well. Only thing holding me back from 5 stars is the plasticware/paper plates. Your food is above that...save some money and buy real plates and silverware that are reusable. Better for the environment too!

We had a delicious brunch/lunch here while visiting the Harrisburg area. Our omelettes were scrumptious, the virgin mojitos were refreshing, and the service was very friendly. No one minded our toddler wandering around and exploring, either. Great neighborhood place!

Clean modern design, a majority of the beautiful artwork is made by the owner, and I dont just mean the paintings, the food tastes as flavorful as it looks. If I could give it six stars it would have 7

This was a great breakfast place. A clean meal that doesnt leave you wanting and service with a smile. Could not ask for more. FYI, tips can only be given in cash only.

The eggs Benedict were delicious! I enjoyed them with the chorizo and chipotle hollandaise. A casual atmosphere, disposable dinnerware, sitting outside was pleasant.

The best brunch. Period. The selections are unique and delicious and the stuff listed as "spicy" are, for once, actually spicy! I cant recommend this place enough.
