Excellent food, wonderful staff, if you cant find something here that you dont absolutely love, then you dont like Italian food! Ive tried a few of their sandwiches and they are without a doubt some of the best Ive ever eaten. I eat at Subway every so often, and an Amicis sub makes Subway taste close to dog food. Sorry, Subway, youre quick and inexpensive, but its the truth. For the amount of meat and toppings and the impeccable quality of the bread and the overall flavor, Amicis sandwiches are very well priced. They are so big that I sometimes eat only half and save the rest for dinner! In comparison, I almost always eat an entire Subway footlong in one sitting, no problem. This review probably sounds like a shill, but I assure you I do not work for, nor personally know anyone at Amicis, they have simply impressed me that much. I come to this area every few months for work, and this is hands-down my favorite place to eat while here. I havent even tried their pizza yet because their sandwiches are so gosh-darned good! The atmosphere inside is nice, typical of mom-n-pop places all over the U.S. and the staff is just great, always so friendly and ready to answer any questions, make recommendations, etc. Just so this review isnt super-sappy, I will say they do charge a buck for soda refills (a large glass,) but their prices are already so reasonable I dont even mind. If you live in the area or are visiting and you havent yet, you need to get out here and try this place, I promise you wont be disappointed.

The restaurant looked dirty,the pizza had barely any sauce. There was some meat that looked like it had been hand torn into large chunks with no care. They topped the "special" Pizza with what seemed like an enter red onion (and I like onion) to cover up the fact there was little meat and barely any cheese. To top it off, it was barely cooked. I was really hungry and chose to skip dinner in fear of the way my stomach may react. My friend took a piece and nuked it twice, brave soul. Said it was barely edible with little to no flavor.

Super friendly staff. I really liked this place a lot. Ordered a sandwich which came out of the kitchen piping hot and was among the best I have ever eaten. If I lived here this would definitely be a regular spot for dining.

Great pizza and quality service. Always friendly even over the phone. The cheese and the crust of this pizza is perfect! I have never eaten anything else besides the pizza, but their prices dont seem bad at all.

New favorite place! Extremely friendly and great pizza. We previously thought Als of Hampden was the best but now we tell everyone about the great find at Amici. Love that crust: perfect chew and flavor.
