So, I looked on google maps for a local place with good lunches and I found a local diner with three five star reviews. When my father and I entered, we did not expect much due to the state of the building. When we entered, we were greeted by a nice couple in a roomy but empty restaurant. We chose shielded booth behind a wall here 2 menus sat. After quickly reviewing, my father got a 100 percent black Angus beef burger with bacon American cheese and fries, I got a beef gyro with fries. As we waited for our food, I fiddled with the syrup at the table, with a layer of white mold on top of it In the bottle, as well as sugar which when shaken stayed a solid mass which not a single grain detached itself. Our ketchup bottles looked like they had been imported from the 1800s with yellowing labels and stained glass. Our food arrived between 5 and 10 minutes, with a decent presentation, aside from it looking like food from a high school football concession stand. I quickly grabbed a fry and took a bite before realizing how none of the fries were at all crispy, and after chewing it, I judged it to be cooked out of a can in a mix of water and peanut oil for about half of the time it needed to be.the 100 percent black Angus beef was 100 percent out of the freezer in a premade patty and the gyro was constructed from old pita, frozen beef sausage patties, and chopped lattice and tomatoes. The tomatoes chops were about an inch thick. I couldnt risk the ketchup after looking at the other condiments so I cried silently at the boiled fries. The reason I gave this restaurant 2 stars is because the bill came to 15 dollars and the people were nice. Would not recommend to anyone.
