When we went here we came to celebrate Mothers Day and were all in a great mood. From the reviews we were expecting something great, but this was not at all the case. We waited for seating which took about 15 minutes, wasnt really that bad, but the restaurant wasnt packed but still busy. When we were seated we ordered our food, after 30 minutes of waiting. We waited 20 minutes for our drinks. We waited 40 minutes for our appetizers which they got wrong. We sat close to the kitchen and during that time we saw the chef sitting on his phone multiple times. It took a bit over an hour from the moment we got our appetizers to get our entrees. The waitress was rude and left multiple times when we tried to order. There was a group of people next to us who came earlier and waited even longer for their food. For the entire restaurant there were two waiters, they were extremely unprofessional, seemed to not know what they were doing. We didnt didnt get our utensils until 20 mins after we asked. Some of the food was very off, specifically the hummus, weve traveled and lived in places where they serve authentic Mediterranean/ Turkish cuisine. The hummus tasted absolutely terrible, and the salad we ordered was completely differnt from the description, so I would never say this place has authentic food. Half of the things on their menu are either crossed out or unavailable. After re reading the reviews it seem as though we and the other reviewers went to different restaurants. In short, this restaurant ruined our day and we would never recommended this place to anybody.

I was looking for something different to try and this place popped up. Ive lived in Levittown for 20 years and never in my life have I enjoyed trying new food more than I did tonight. The server Ose was amazing. He recommended a few dishes to my table and we tried them all. The falafel was absolutely AMAZING. The Hummus and Baba Ganoush & Eggplant salad were great starters. I had the Chicken Kabish and it was simply delicious, wonderful flavors, extremely moist and tender with just enough char from the kabob style cooking. Ose surprised the table by bringing over baklava without us even asking, it was the perfect ending. He even brought us over more after seeing how much we loved it. Thank you very much Ose and to the Chef, you earned customers that will DEFINITELY BE BACK :)

The place can be easily missed without using a GPS. However, once inside, my husband and I were greeted by a smiling faced yoing woman and seated. We are served feta cheese, walnuts and bread as we sat down. Quite nice . We ordered the starter platter which included hummus, baba ganoush etc. It was a good serving size and we couldnt finish it. My only complaint would be that the hummus was bland. The main courses were chicken adana and a mixed grill platter. They both came with rice, half grilled tomatoes and grilled chillies. All I can say is yummmmmm. For dessert they serve everyone baklava. I also decided to order the knafeh, which, was the perfect blend of sweet with a slight savoury after tone. It was very good. We will definitely be going again.

No words will do this place justice. Food is absolutely astonishing. Always fresh. I eat there daily. I absolutely adore babaganush and bakhlava, however absolutely every dish i tried there was delicious, and by now i tried almost everything. Starting from salads, Kebabs, fish, everything that is grilled is a A+++,and ending with homemade deserts that melt in your mouth. Chef is a real master. I do not cook and order food a lot, this is 100% the best place in the area. There is nothing even closely comparable to that place. You do not need to be into Mediterranean kitchen to enjoy the food

The food is delicious and definitely deserves more traffic than any restaurant in the area. This is an authentic Turkish restaurant with delicious Kebobs. If you are looking for something that isnt pizza, Chinese, fast food or Panera bread, which is what this area majority consist of then this place will not disappoint you. It is the tastiest kebob restaurant within 20-30 mile radius. The food is fresh and the staff is extremely friendly.

Hell no Im not drinking tap water from a tarnished, green stained rimmed vase. The complimentary bread? Thanks... But what about the complimentary dip/spread? And wheres the waitress who left us hanging for 40 minutes before taking our order, which itself was a struggle? And smart, for forgetting to come back with our drinks, despite pouring water from a CLEAN VASE to the customers next to us.

I tried this place a few times and as a picky eater have to admit that theyve exceeded my expectations both times. I went there last week and had a bowl of lentil soup and gyro platter, which were delicious and flavorful. I will be going back when Im in the area and would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Great place and very fresh food, highly recommend! I ate the meatball (kafta) and the babaganoosh which were amazing, this little hole in the wall restaurant is a hidden gem in Levittown. The Turkish tea is simple but wonderful after being out in the cold. Would definitely come here again!

Very disappointed. I thought this would be a middle eastern place but its Turkish. They dont use tahini sauce on any of their dishes. They just have the tzatziki sauce which is a) not as good, and b) not as healthy because its made from dairy which is gross. Not vegan. :-(

The fresh and authentic flavors of their entrees brought back memories of the delicious kofte and adnana i had in Istanbul. Service is quick and very courteous, prices reasonable, and ambiance quite pleasant. Do yourself a favor and go try Sofra today!

Take out menus coming soon. The people are nice and they had my order ready 10mins after I called it in. About $16 for lamb kabob. Good food but the rice could be better.
