Five stars all day long! We stopped here 3 years ago just looking for a place to eat not far from the highway. What a find. Dining the way it is meant to be. The food is to die for and the service is impeccable. We go to the NY Auto Show every year and happened to drive past this place. Its in Liberty NY not near anything but its well worth a drive from anywhere. We live in Buffalo and will make the drive just to go here. Its traditional Italian and delicious. My son and I make plans every year to go here on the way back from NYC. They will go above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience possible. The decor is a bit dated, but you wont care after the first bite you take. If there is any place you must go, this is it.

Better than most Italian restaurants Ive been to in Brooklyn. The restaurant is staffed by a charming Italian family, who had their lengthy specials menu totally memorized, which is encouraging for a guy who asks for recommendations. They made a point to say they would switch any meat or veggie with any pasta or sauce, and are very accomodating for people who may be picky eaters. Best meal of our trip upstate, would go back again if we return.

My sister has worked at Piccolo for almost 4 months now and she brings food home from work for me and it is always absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend eating there the service is always the best service possible and the staff makes you feel right at home. The owner Baco is one of the nicest most genuine, kind hearted, hard working men, and always makes sure all customers are satisfied to the fullest.

My wife & I dine out often & are rather critical of the cuisine. we may have had dinner here 5 times & each time it was superb. I give Piccolo Paese 5 stars because weve given them at least 5 chances to disappoint us & they have yet to. try the raviolis. I found them delectable. one might describe the food as "authentic". we live 3 hours from here & once came up just for dinner.

This is the place you want to be when you want to check out, to a relaxed nice beautifully served dinner. Best menu available in the 30 mile radius. Meet the most amazing staff. starting by Alison at the bar to manager Nick. and last but not least the owner Jerry super quite with the big smile retired pro actor Robert DeNiro

Food was good. But prices were ridiculous. I made the mistake of ordering the mushroom ravioli special without asking the price thinking how bad could it be. Well, $34, holy crap!!! For 5 raviolis!! This restaurant is no Babbo. Its just a regular old Italian restaurant in the middle of a small town in upstate NY.

The only thing that was good at this place was the service. They told us there would be a delay on the shrimp. Thats probably because they had to defrost it. The food was terrible and extremely expensive. The place was cold and they charged $350 for 5 people and that was with only 3 cocktails in total.

Stellar - all the way around! I never cease to be amazed at the quality of food, and the delightful presentation. Its pricey but its worth it. it is consistently fantastic! Fresh, flavorful, and Mama Mia this chef knows his stuff! better than most restaurants in Manhattan! Not to mention Brooklyn.

Excellent angiolotti and steak. Healthy portions and great service with table side service for Cease salads and dessert. I heard of Piccolos because my family held business meetings in the 90s for the growing alpaca industry. Definitely a must go to place!

Food was pretty good but HOLY C#@P were the prices unreasonable. This was a place I always wanted to try, so my wife and I had dinner. Wont be going back, because the cost was not justified by the service or the food.
