Service: Horrendous. Like, really horrendous. Food: okay Price: reasonable I had high hopes that the food would make up for the service. Was it okay? Sure. Worth almost two hours of waiting? Nope. Its Mothers Day. We expected a crowd at breakfast. From all indications, the restaurant had no idea that people go out for breakfast maybe ever, let alone Mothers Day. After a very long wait, we realized that wed been skipped. Theyd crossed our name off the list without calling it. They apologized. The women seating us then became frantic. They went into a tizzy in front of us--about us being skipped, about the girl who screwed up, about where theyd seat the next people, etc.--unprofessional histrionics. Once we ordered, the wait was................long. Like, LONG. We ordered items that should have been super easy and fast: cream chipped beef, toast, homefries, pancakes, scrapple, and a sticky bun. This whole order should have been cooked within 10-20 minutes. Not an hour, guys. Not an HOUR! Meanwhile, after maybe 40 minutes, the waitress reassured us that our food was coming soon. She added: "Other people are waiting, too." Now, how is it going to make me feel better that everyone is receiving equally poor service? Is the restaurant operating under egalitarian principles? If so, is there a point at which they decide to apply GOOD service equally? One can only hope. Then...they managed to screw up my husbands order, so he had to wait a few minutes longer. My daughter and I began eating, of course, lest we starve and die. I assure you, I did not want my final gasps of air to be wasted in this restaurant. They also forgot my sticky bun entirely. When I asked the waitress to either bring it or remove it from the bill, she did both, and then discounted the bill 10%. I took the bun to go. As we were leaving, the hostess apologized for the wait. I mentioned the hour-long wait for food on top of it. She copped an attitude at that point, about how they were at double occupancy, etc. Okay...Poor planning on your part is not justification for a two-hour ordeal on my part. BUT--the sticky bun with raisins was amazeballs. My recommendation: walk in, get a sticky bun, and walk out. Fast.

Dont let the outside deceive you! The exterior is clean and well maintained so we decided to give this restaurant an try. Its an upscale diner at best. All the servers were apologizing for something, "Sorry your soup is cold", "sorry the soda is flat today", "sorry there was something gross in you dessert" The architecture of the restaurant is well done but the food was mediocre and it felt like all the employees were unhappy. One server was setting tables and dropping the silverware from about a foot off the table which made for nice atmosphere considering she had about 7 tables to set with 4 seats each.

I can completely understand being busy and feeling overwhelmed at work but you dont express it to your patrons. My food was cold and the waitress was such a mess it wasnt worth...... When your special of the day was frozen and microwaved to serve..... sorry they didnt even know how to use a microwave.

The pancakes were still raw in the center, they forgot the toast with my order, and the waitress brought bacon instead of the scrapple I ordered (which isnt a big deal) but when I finally got my scrapple it wasnt cooked and had tasted like it was spoiled.

we were here for the weekend and after finding all restaurants closed at 7 we were desperate and found intercourse village restaurant open until 8 - service was friendly portions large. I tried the ham loaf. prices very reasonable. food was decent.

Service and atmosphere are very good but meals were nothing special. Disappointed when the vegetable of the day, corn, was canned and not fresh. This place has potential but needs to improve their recipes and ingredients.
