This place was horrible for several reasons: 1. Its utterly filthy. There is clutter around, fake plants covered in dust, and there is an alarming amount of visible gunk/dirt on the walls, doors, file cabinets, everything. 2. The service was lacking to say the least. The place was absolutely dead (we saw only one or two other people trickle in to get take-out), and it took them a full 40 minutes to put our food together. One of the items we ordered was wrong. 3. The food itself was awful. I had a shrimp dish that was flavorless and watery. Some of the vegetables had been cut so long ago that they were blackening around the edges. The few shrimp there were in the $9.95 dish were just mush, like they had been sitting in warm water for days. I also had egg drop soup, which was flavorless and thick to the point that I assumed it had been sitting out all day as well. Someone else in our party ordered the sesame chicken, which was disgustingly sweet and far more breading than chicken. The final dish we had was supposed to be pork lo mein, but in fact was beef lo mein. I love garlic, but this tasted like a 10lb bag of garlic cloves hemorrhaged and died in a pile of mushy noodles. Overall, this place is just another one to add to the long list of south central PAs "Never Again" list.

EXCELLENT!!! When I travel, I always try to find an old small local restaurant that is not on most popular or busiest locations. Marco Polo is one such restaurant that is located in a residential area and away from the main roads. It is not your typical fancy, but very much family oriented restaurant. Food there is wonderfully prepared, fresh and very tasteful. I am pleasantly surprised how authentic their food taste (General Tso chicken, Homestyle TOFU, Three Ingredients). Service is great and friendly. If you happen to be in the Hershey area and want some authentic Chinese food, make an effort to find this restaurant and you won’t be disappointed.

Ive lived in New York for 23 years now. Ive eaten from the finest chinese restaurants to the nitty-gritty little take out spots that only locals would know from Chinatown in NYC to 8th avenue in Brooklyn and everything else in between in the tri-state area. Hands down this restaurant is the best! The food is like in a different level. The price is half of NYC faughetaboutit! Yes its weird and a little dirty but once you taste the food you forget about all that. All the bad reviewers here obviously dont know anything about chinese cuisine.

I started working in the Hershey area and asked around about the best place for Chinese food. Everyone suggested Marco Polo. Ive been to many Chinese restaurants all over the US and this place is the best by far. The portions are huge and the prices are not. Great service and atmosphere. I try to go for lunch at least twice a week and have brought my family from York here multiple times. They also say this is the best and constantly ask "When are we going back to Marco Polo?" Highly recommend this restaurant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered the mongolian beef which was given high marks in another review. As mentioned elsewhere, this was in fact very good. Unfortunately it all goes downhill from here. Despite ordering a large, the amount of rice I received was even smaller than the small at most other Chinese restaurants. This was no partially offset by the fact that the rice was noticeably not fresh. The rice was quite mushy, as if it had been sitting in a warmer for a while. There is no parking, so be prepared for street parking only.

--Hard to find location (not much parking in a cramped neighborhood) --Menus are worn to the point of falling apart with large chunks missing & spicier dishes are not clearly marked --Poor customer service (unfriendly & cold) --Bland tea --Fountain drinks are not really from a fountain; if you order a Coke it will come from a can & you will be told not to share it (not sure if this was a joke or not) --Wantan chips are left out on tables, not brought out fresh upon arrival

Great Chinese food. This is a little hole in the wall place. Been in same place for 20+ years. We have been all over Us and this is at the top of the best. You can see the place has alot of history. Excellent food and service. My daughter isnt a chinese food fan but loves this place. It is authentic chinese food and not Americanized!

Great Chinese restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious; the best. Served hot. Very reasonably priced. Soothing traditional background music was relaxing and enjoyable. Wish I could transport the restaurant to my home town. Do not let any hesitation on your part stop you from enjoying a very good meal!

It is one of my favorite in this area. You will like their food and friendly service just like an old friend. But I agree, their dishes were not clean enough, sometimes, not always. For parking...well, it is so so. I did not have any trouble with parking. I recommand.

Yummy food. Unusual setting, and old building but the staff are very pleasant, and the food was tasty, not the usual bland chinese food you get. Value too, we paid $20 for kungpao shrimp and mapo tofu that came with egg roll, hot and sour soup, rice. Ate every bite.

Our experience here was very good- we were a group of 9. At first the place seemed intimidating as it is a bit dark and somewhat isolated. However, the food is amazing and the owner is very kind. Well definitely come back and I highly recommend you visit too.

I have eaten here for 25+ years and have never been disappointed. The food is wonderful and everyone I ever taken here comes back over and over. Local favorite and worth taking the time to find parking or walk to! Highly recommended!!!

Horrible service. Very brisk and rude. The rice was old and the meal was sub par. They really skimped on the meat. And they never brought us tea which comes free with the meal. Overall, the experience was very poor.

I lived around the corner from this restaurant 10 years ago & it was phenomenal then. Recently returned & it was STILL the best chinese in the US to me. Love the staff, love the location & the food is perfection.

Not going here for the ambiance, your going here for authentic Chinese food and thats what you get. Their mongolian beef is really good. As well as the Sweet & Sour chicken...Ive never had anything bad here.
