I have to start off by saying that after reading some of the recent posts on Braveheart in Hellertown I was a bit shocked and disappointed to see that there were ANY negative reviews. To someone who is well traveled and has been all over the world (even to Scotland) I have never been to a pub that embraces the culture, and primitive feel of a country as much as Braveheart. From the decor, and the atmosphere to the well trained and knowledgeable staff I felt like I was back in the old country. The food is impeccable, and worth every cent. The beers are singly the most affordable and tasty Ive had. Those of you who think otherwise can stay at home and pretend to enjoy your domestic beer. Whats the saying..."a Bang for your Buck" well i must say that you will definitely get your Bang at Braveheart.

I went right after St. Patricks day they had an add on menu for the holiday. I tried the corned beef and cabbage chili which was phenomenal. For the main course I had the Buffalo shrimp meal. The asparagus was cooked to perfection, the shrimp was very good, I thought it would have more of Franks type of a buffalo sauce, but still delicious. Beer menu was good. They also feature a few haggis dishes which I will have to try in a future visit. Well done braveheart, the Irish music made a wonderful atmosphere.

The wallus cheese burger is usually a excellent choice, however make sure u dont order take out! The waitresses can not perform simple tasks of jotting down a correct order, if you cant handle a busy saturday night find a different job!! Service is poor for a busy saturday night, needless to say I will not be a patron for this establishment anymore. Very displeased that a simple order of a wallus cheese burger can not be forfilled accurately.

Very clean Restaurant and Bar...good food and attentive service. We came in as we are fans of taps Tavern and heard it was owned by the same people. Same high quality. Enjoyed our visit even on a Monday, very lively atmosphere. Corned beef and cabbage egg rolls were amazing. The beef stew ample portion came with an incredibly delicious rye Irish soda bread with currants.

This is a great place to go to have a drink, and an ok place for food. There isnt a whole ton of room and some of the dishes are hit or miss. It really takes a seasoned customer to know whats good on the menu and whats not. Best thing is probably the atmosphere - Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights are awfully fun.

There are many things to like about this place. Unique menu, very creative with the specials. Crab cakes were the best Ive had outside of Maryland. Service was very professional, atmosphere is relaxed even when the restaurant is busy. Never had a sense that they were too busy to take care off their customers.

Food is ok. The waitress looked at me like I had 3 heads when I said I had a gluten allergy. Even said their one said was gotten free and when it came out it was basically bread. How are people unaware of what has gluten or wheat in it today? The meal was ok. I most likely wont be back.

The girls and I went out for lunch, and we ordered a myriad of menu items. Everyone seemed to like their meal. I had the spinach salad, which was good, but the pears werent ripe. The service was great, especially since we were a group of 6, which they could accommodate easily.

the previous review sounds a lot like a review by someone that works there.... trying to drum up business...... food used to be good. just went yesterday and it SUCKED. beer is what youd expect to find from a bar, and a little more expensive than anyone should pay.

Found Braveheart last year and its become my favorite place in the Valley. Great atmosphere, friendly people and awesome food. Great selection of tap beers and the Scotch is top notch. I hit it once or twice a week and would recommend it to anyone.

This place has consistently good food. Service has always been great. The Scottish food options are a pleasant addition to the Lehigh Valley. This bar is fun, especially on Trivia Night. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting.

As a local, I have been to BHP various times of the day, week & year. Always consistently great in food, service and drink! If youre of Celtic descent or interested in enjoying British fare, BHP is the place in the Lehigh Valley!!!

If you want a hearty meal this is the place to go. I love going there in the fall and winter. I fill my stomach full of great food (Bangers and Mash) and the chips and dip is great too. My daughter loves their Potato Leak soup.

Great food and atmosphere. Offers a good variety of Irish eats and American fare. Their Highlandburger is huge, juicy, and amazingly delicious. On nights and weekends they can get busy, so its always good to call ahead.

I really wanted to love this place. I got fish n chips, the chips were underdone, the fish was overdone. Soup was bland. Service was good, atmosphere was nice, whoever was running the frier needs some work.

Fun and unique place to drink and/or dine. A tad on the pricey side,, but delicious food with the real feel of a Scottish pub. Friendly staff and an interesting variety of dishes. We always enjoy it here!

Food was great. Got the chicken flatbread which was very good and tasty. Server was good and checked on us repeatedly. The peanut dessert was very good. Prices are reasonable and inexpensive.

Hours say open till 1am on Saturday. We showed up at 1040pm and were told they already did last call. We drove out of our way to come here because we heard good things. Very disappointing

Excellent menu. You can choose from lighter fare to bigger entrees. We enjoy sitting at the bar, ordering from the wide selection of beers, and grabbing a bite. A go-to for date night.

Stopped here on our way up to Long Island for a quick drink. What a great decision cause I finally found a place in the SE PA area that has haggis! Oh, well be back!

Decent drinks. Lots of whiskeys to try. Good food (no haggis!). Try the Scottish eggs! They sound strange, but are delicious!!

Great authentic food, but go there hungry as the portions are more than a meal.
