We stopped in for lunch one day during our excursion to Hazelton. It was delicious. Everything was homemade with a lot of healthy choices. Even my dining companion who does not eat vegetables, or anything healthy loved the restaurant. You order from a counter filled with tons of yummy foods. There are several tables to sit and eat in the restaurant. My friend ordered the soup. It was black bean soup filled with vegetables and other yummy stuff. It was really good. I had the grilled chicken special with avocado, tomato, onion, lettuce, with a delicious sauce on 7 grain bread. Very tasty. We ordered two desserts with a huge cup of coffee. Everything was delicious. I would highly recommend it. The staff is extremely friendly .Prices are reasonable.

this is, by far, the premium coffee house in the Hazleton area. their specials are always creative and their day-to-day menu is spectacular and varied enough so it never stales. the atmosphere is spot on. it feels like a inner city coffee house with a lovely aesthetic layout and local art hanging from the walls. additionally, no coffee house would be complete without a coffee table and comfortable couch, and the dragon fly cafe has both. I recommend giving this place a try, you wont be disappointed. 5 stars.

A real surprise find in Hazleton! They go way beyond knowing that espresso does not contain an "x"... If liking real coffee with the flavor of REAL coffee (and not watered down frac juice) makes me a stuck up snob, then call me that. Im happy to spend time at Dragonfly, use their free wi-fi, listen to their good music selection, their hip atmosphere, and talk to their very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Patronize this establishment - they work hard to differentiate themselves!

The food and restaurant are great! I love the atmosphere; it looks like a NYC cafe. However, the staff can be really rude. I ordered an extra sweet coffee, it arrived completely unsweetened. When I asked the girl that delivered it, she told me if I want I can go there and sweeten it myself. She was extremely rude, I did report it to the supervisor. Its a shame because the owner is very sweet.

The Dragonfly Cafe was open when we buzzed through Hazleton in January...Great coffee, handy location, cheerful staff--a perfect spot to linger over coffee and a muffin--I heard they were going to serve soups and paninis in a week or so. Looking forward to a return trip to check it out!

If your in a hurry or at lunch dont expect a quick order. It took almost a half hour to get a panini. It was 9.00 and had less meat than a subway sandwich. Had high hopes but left disappointed.
