Terrible service! I have ordered there numerous times thinking maybe this time may be better, however, its always the same. Behind the counter in the kitchen is ALWAYS chaos! Too many people and NO ONE knows what is going on. When I order Im always told 1/2 hr. I get there and its still not ready and this is every time. My order has YET to be correct. I never get what I ordered! One time I even had to wait longer because they gave my pizza to someone else. I truly do not recommend this place to anyone especially if you are in a hurry and want what you ordered.

05/13/2016 Today my son said to me relax Momma Ill order cheese steaks for us and Ill bring it home. I ordered a chicken cheese steak W/ fried onions, lettuce, mayo. And hot peppers on the side. Well I received a fried chicken finger sandwich W/ fried onions, mayo, cheese,NO lettuce and hot peppers on the side were not hot. I just moved up here and sorry to say you lost me as a customer. My son told me his cheese steak was not right and the pizza they ordered was not right! Thank You, Josephine Capece

My boyfriend and I were in PA for our birthdays. We looked up reviews for the best pizzeria in the Wilkes-Barre/Hazleton area and Alta had good reviews. The food was fantastic--best (and most authentic italian) pizza we have ever had. We ordered the Margarhita pizza, garlic knots, and Tiramisu for dessert. It was a great birthday lunch for both of us, and they gave us two free birthday cannolis when we got the check. Lovely place.

They have great food we order all the time but the delivery guy likes to think he can keep his own tip my soon handed him 30 dollars and he kept 9 dollars for a tip and walked a away before my son could say wheres my change and i called 5 times to hear he is bringing it back looks like I have to up and get my money back they just lost are business and we order from them at least 3 times a week

Disappointing. It seems this business can not handle a busy Friday or Saturday night. Twice I waited now after calling ahead. They tell you a certain time on the phone and then I must wait another 30-40 minutes after I arrive. This time the pizza was under cooked. Clearly their quality slips when they are busy. Kitchens areas are not very clean. Alta you are officially on the blacklist.

1st time Delivery was slow and they could not give a good estimate on how much longer I had to wait. 2nd time Everything went a lot smoother they got a bump from 1 star to 4 because they delivered on time after finding a new driver when the scheduled one called off.

I would have given it 5 star because I saw them cook fresh food and made pizza to order. But l can only give three stars because food was too oily and too greasey. The restaurant had a great feel and looked really nice on inside. The staff was very friendly.

I love their pizza. It is soooo delicious. I have never been inside. My boyfriend went and picked it up for us, since we live like so close. Its a little on the pricey side, but its very good food.

The food is delicious, but I dont like the fact that when you order an individual slice of pizza they give you one thats been sitting and just throw it in the oven to heat it up.
