Por mi ni le doy ni una estrella yo fui por primera vez con mi pareja y al parecer a la mesera y una clienta le hacia cosquilla al verme q soy gorda y mi pareja bien flaco q se nos quedaron mirando y riendose como locas despaporidas y traz de eso viene a la mesa y ni nos mira a la cara sino sige mirando a su amiga las cuales no se paraban de reir q mal si asi reciben a los cliente no tienen ni clase ni ética profesional y mucho menos respeto por los demas.

This place is awesome, me and my wife and daughter have eaten there more times then we could count. I saw some of the reviews and was kind of shocked, yes you get your food fast, yes its cheap compared to other sit down restaurants in the area about 11$ for the Granda meal witch is two plates of food, yes the staff is friendly, and yes the food is awesome way way better then taco bell. If your not happy there is another Mexican place not far from this one close to the giant outdoor sportsman shop and mall. but if your closer to this place just stay and eat its good people I promise you, you can ask my wife Im very picky about my restaurants, I often will gage a place by how clean its bathrooms are, and these are spotless!

1st visit and LAST! After being seated, we waited over 20 minutes with 0 contact from our waiter. I had to go and ask someone to bring us drinks. I watched as patrons sat not too far from us were immediately serviced. About 5 minutes later our waiter showed up asking us what we wanted to drink. I ordered for my daughter and I, my spouse was still trying to figure out what to eat. Another waiter brought my daughters food, our original waiter took forever to come back for my spouses order. After waiting an insane amount of time (my order which was placed with my daughters never arrived) I asked for a check. As I was speaking to the mgr my spouses food arrived, mine never did! Worst service Ive EVER experienced.

We have been to El Rodeo (near Colonial Park) on many occasions and it continues to be my request for a birthday meal. The staff is friendly and we rarely have to wait for our food. The salsa is amazing. I always get the Grande Dinner. Its enough food for my husband I and to share and sometimes we do. The fried ice cream is the only truly fried ice cream I have ever found. The churros are simply mouthwatering. The atmosphere is unreal. You could honestly imagine you were in Mexico. Dont pay any attention the bad reviews this place was given. Some people have different tastes in food. I can honestly look back and say that I would regret never going there because of a few not so favorable reviews.

Im not sure why this place is rated so high. I assume its because people in Pennsylvania do not know what Mexican food tastes like. The tacos were boring, the salsa was too spicy for most people, the queso was average, the chips were average (not hot) and come in small trays, the enchilada was terrible (beef), the horchata was the worst Ive ever had (I ordered it to go because I love sipping horchata after Mexican food) and well I left it on the table after a few sips, it came in a small cup for $2.50. The inside is nice and the exterior is beautiful, food is terrible. Im a food critic, Im sure most will find their Mexican food okay but if your from Mexico or the south this place is not worth it.

Very disappointed during this visit. Greeted by the most wicked hostess I have ever encountered in any restaurant in my 44 years. She never spoke to us and only pointed to our seats after being interrupted from her cell phone activity. Other staff was more pleasant. Food was also a disappointment as the carnitas that I ordered was mostly fat and barely edible. The fried ice cream did not meet our expectations either as it was not fried at all. It was a ball of ice cream rolled in Rice Krispy cereal. Doubt I will give this place another chance to change my impression anytime soon.

I dont know about the other reviews but I just had lunch here and the food was so ample that I had to ask for a box to bring half of it home. Our waiter was very friendly and used some Spanish to add to the authentic atmosphere. He was very fast in taking our order. I had read reviews prior to going and had doubts so naturally this made me see if other posters had truth to them. I noticed all the employees quickly taking care of their customers, the manager on duty delivered all the chips baskets. I dont drink alcohol so no review on that. Definitely will return again in the future.

Food was good, as usual. Service was slow and unfriendly. My husband is a picky eater so he ordered tacos with just meat and cheese, came out wrong 3 times. After the 3rd attempt we decided to just leave with our 2 young kids who were tired of waiting. We were charged for 3 orders of tacos that were all sent back, he never did eat anything. After talking to the server and the manager(?) our bill was finally fixed after 15 minutes of attempting to explain what went wrong. The appetizer and the rest of our meals were good, nothing special. It will be a while until we come back.

I like El Rodeo. Though it will be a while till I return to this location. Service is always prompt and quick when you can get it. I went through my last meal without a refill and had even asked for one when she served our food. She never returned until she gave us the check which we wanted split but she didnt do that either or even ask. We had to wait ten minutes for her to come back to the area before we could get her attention to ask for the split check. The food was good, normal expectations for this place.

This place used to be really good. I went there recently and the staff was very inattentive despite there being very few customers when we went in. The table we were seated at was pretty dirty and it took them awhile to clean it while we looked at the menu. We asked for drink and salsa refills and never received either. The food was still pretty good (especially the tamales which were big), but I might try one of the other locations next time I get a hankering for Mexican.

Wife & I had a margarita each, I had the shrimp cocktail, the cocktail tasted little funky, the crackers had an expiration date of April 12, 2016, I told the waiter, he said sorry, and said he would send the manager, I said ok, manager never came, eating stuff thats expired 1week, 2 weeks ok, come on since April, makes me think what all else is expired that is served, we did not make a fuss, but i was sick from the thought...

I hate this place! My boyfriend and I waited in line for 30 min b4 anyone even came to greet us! We were then pointed to our seats with no menus. The waitress came 10min Later and had no clue what the specials were oh and by the way we were by the kitchen where we saw people standing around and trash overflowing onto the floor.... we got up to leave and the waitress rolled her eyes! I will never go back here again!
