First time here and I will be back! There was a choice between indoor and outdoor seating. We chose indoor because we had been outside all day, but the outdoor seemed nice as well. Our server Michael was extremely attentive and made our experience pleasurable. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and recommended the crab cakes. Three out of four of us got the crab cakes, one of us got the pot pie, one got the baked brie as an entree rather than an appetizer and we got a kids meal of the meatball sliders. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. I loved that the menu had a variety rather than just typical American fair of burgers and fried food. We all enjoyed our food, but the crab cakes were to die for. The rice pilaf was good and the garden salad with with the balsamic vinaigrette was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and this will become my regular restaurant to visit when I am in town. I like it so much that I may even go back tomorrow! My only recommendation is that they serve the remoulade sauce with the crab cakes rather than butter, tartar or cocktail sauce.. As a self-professed foodie, I can say with confidence that crab cakes are meant to be eaten with a remoulade sauce, NOT with butter, tartar, or cocktail sauce. Luckily they were very accommodating and gave me remoulade sauce with my crab cakes upon request. Their remoulade is magnificent and truly accentuates the flavor of the crab cakes. This small change could be life changing for this restaurant and really put them on the map. You cant go wrong here. There is something for everyone. I highly recommend the Blue Moose. Also, ask for Michael. He was the best server we have ever had in the entire state of Pennsylvania!

Dont bother. Arrived and were promptly seated on the deck as requested. Deck was filthy with leaves, broken overhead fans, and many cigarette buts all over the floor by our table. I was also given a chair that had a broken seat. Sat next to this continuous drip of water from air conditioners that ran out under table. It took about 15 minutes to place order. No soups on menu. Ordered wings and pulled pork sandwich. Neither had any taste. Wings appeared to have been warmed up from an early batch. Pulled pork sandwich was blan and had no taste. We had also explained to our waitress that we needed an order to go when we finish our meal. So we put the order in ahead of time but when we hot the check the to go order was never put in. They had to prepare that meal which took an extra half hour and another check. Not worth the $50 for a mediocre meal. Dont wast you time. Anybody that gives this place more then three stars doesnt know good dining.

My boyfriend and I went to the Blue Moose for dinner because it was near our hotel and the online menu showed a lot of good options. He ordered the meatloaf with green beans & sweet potatoes and I ordered the adult mac & cheese. Our waitress informed us that both dishes were homemade, which certainly explains why they were so absolutely delicious!! My mac&cheese was out of this world! He said his meatloaf was delicious and that the sweet potato fries were the best hes ever had. The atmosphere was nice, the place looked clean, theres an arcade, and some outdoor deck seating. The staff was friendly. It was by far the best meal we had during our whole Hershey trip! I would definitely recommend eating here if youre in the area. We wouldve gone again for lunch on the day we left, had they been open before 4pm!

The food here is amazing! If youre looking for a bar that actually has good home-made food, then look no further! Ive eaten here several times and have never had a bad meal or bad experience. The staff is caring and eager to make suggestions, every thing on the menu sounds so good its hard to choose. The owner actually is the chef, she makes some of the most delicious things to ever touch my lips! They have entertainment and a full bar, oh not to mention the deck! This place has it all, nice staff, clean establishment, great food, and an atmosphere that surpasses all other sports bars. This has become my favorite dining establishment and my favorite place to unwind and grab a drink. Dont miss out on this Harrisburg gem!! Oh, and try the chicken pie...its huge and delicious!!!

Ordered the Loaded waffle fries and the pretzels with the honey mustard and beer cheese dips. Wow. The only thing missing was a suicide hotline phone number. The pretzels I suspect were frozen as they appeard to have a wrinkly skin and not a crust, the beer cheese was meh at best, the honey mustard sauce tasted like applesauce to my girlfriend and me. The waffle fries themselves were not bad but the bacon had no taste (how is that even possible), there was a legit 1/3 of a potato on the plate that snuck through. To end on a good note the service was pretty good and the staff understood the general blandness of the food. The draft beer was cold too. Thats all I got. Not coming back for the food, but Ill stay for the shows.

Great service, love being out of the city. I dont have to worry about my car being destroyed or a shooting. The food is out standing, the chef knows how to please everyone. Our drinks were served in 2 minutes, and we didnt have to wait long to have our food served. Love the variety, and real ingredients. No fillers in the crab cakes. We celebrated New Years Eve. with out of town friends, and we all had a great time. The food was extra special that night. Love the daily specials too. There is something for everyone. We will continue to take our friends, and family for a cozy out of the way experience.

I went in to Blue Moose Thursday night with my girlfriend. I’ve been hearing their Radio Spots and a work friends talking about it. We went in, around 6-7pm and sat at the bar. The décor is relaxing, comfortable, and reminds me of a ski lodge. It’s actually a really nice place. Both of the bartenders were very nice and they make you feel welcome. Draft prices were great, especially for sam’s Oktoberfest only being $4. Food was delicious, I recommend the pulled pork. Wings were huge and well-priced! Great comfort food type of menu with a twist. I really enjoyed it and will continue to come here!

Modest, inviting place with reasonable pricing. I enjoyed the waitress recommended "Chicken pie" next to a warm fire, the mealed had me second guessing my wifes homemade pot pie as the best Ive ever had! The service was above my high standards, very friendly, professional, and most importantly once I enjoyed my salad the main meal came promptly after! Drinks were decent with a small selection of micro brews and good happy hour pricing. I would recommend and have already this place to any one in the area who doesnt want to go to a terrible service chain like Out back, Chillies, Applbees ect.

This place has a great deck even in 85 degree weather. Theres plenty of shade and ceiling fans to make it enjoyable. I recently was there with my bestie and we ordered some sandwiches to share. She got a burger and I tried the Shrimp PoBoy. Her burger was scrumptious but the PoBoy was horrible. Wilted dark green lettuce, 1 tomato slice, some kind of dressing and 4 small breaded shrimp on a sub roll for $11. I ate my 2 tiny shrimp and left the rest. What a waste of money. They should learn how to make a PoBoy or take it off the menu.
