Well, I had already heard a few mixed reviews of the place, but the wife wanted to give it a try. So, the wife, our 5 year old and I went on a Saturday for lunch. We walked in and were greeted by the staff and the place was busy. Most of the tables were filled, and half the bar seats were taken as well. The decor is made up with pics from rock-and-roll groups and wide screen TVs showing sports. We were given menus where one side was a list of 100+ bottled beers and the other was the food. There is NO childrens menu. Though the waitress did say they had chicken fingers for kids. We ordered our food and it took about 15-20 minutes for it to arrive. I got a shaved beef sandwich that probably had an eye-dropper full of BBQ sauce on it. Luckily the meat was moist. My wife had the bbq pork soft tacos, which had a dry slaw on it and probably even less BBQ sauce than my sandwich. Her tortilla chips were very greasy looking with nothing to dip them in. My house-made potato chips werent too bad. Overall, I wasnt impressed. I think there are some better places in town to get good beer choices. Soo not worth the trip to Exton from WC, especially as a family meal. Maybe a happy-hour trip would be ok.

On previous trips to The Pour House in Exton, Pa. the wife and I were always pleased with the food. We enjoy ordering just appetizers and beer. and on out latest visit (8/15/16) we did just that. Mine you, we hadnt been to the restaurant for sometime, but it was our go to place for cold beer on a hot day. The Pour House is not a brewery so the beer quality is never in question. However, the food has noticeably gone down hill. The wings were over cooked, dry and covered with sauce to hid this fact. Onion rings were good but do they have to be a quarter pound a piece, I love dipping oinion rings in a tasty sauce, but where was the sauce. Finally what was really disappointing was what they called Pulled Pork Nachos. A large plate of plain nachos, with dry pulled pork thrown on top of them. In what universe does this describe a tasty way to present a plate of nachos. Something or someone changed in the kitchen of The Pour House at Exton. If I was the owners of this establishment I would revert back to what you were doing before what ever changes were made or pay more attention to whats coming out of the kitchen.

My fiancé and I decided to give this spot a shot since we like Victory Brewing food and the beer selection of The Drafting Room. We were wrong. Keep in mind that the servers were attentive, with good reason. We had four over different waitresses that switched while serving us and didnt let us know what was going on. We decided to order the garlic fries as a starter and were impressed by the use of real garlic, but it was far too much. Each fry was coated in such an overwhelming amount of garlic, that in order to attempt to eat them, each fry had to be cleaned off. Looking past that, we ordered burgers hers medium well and mine well done. When our burgers arrived we were not impressed. One side of my burger has been burnt beyond belief and the other side was undercooked resulting in near rare spots throughout the meat. When we informed our waitress of the garlic fry experience she neglected to remove it from our bill and seemed like a deer in the headlights. I had high hopes for this place and they didnt event come close. Go to Victory for food or The Drafting Room for beer. Case closed.

I thought our server was great, the ambiance is like any upscale chain restaurant. Im not a real beer conneuseoir so my review is solely based on the food. Ive eaten there several times and its always been disappointing. Last time I stopped in I ordered a salad, the chicken was bland, there was a sprinkle of bacon (barely discernable) and overall the flavors didnt mesh well. Id have enjoyed a pre-packaged Wawa salad more! The burger fare Ive had was unimpressive, especially considering Blarney Stone has some really banging burgers. Id say come for happy hour, have a few drinks, but dont plan to eat here.

Excellent dinner and drinks! My husband and I came here on our last road trip. We had mixed drinks which were fantastic, but they also offered over 100 types of beer! I had a ribeye sandwich and my husband had a blend of seafood; we also tried the mazarella triangles.... Everything was awesome. We sat outside... They have a small area for the patio. Great live music and friendly staff. I would recommend this, especially for anyone traveling like us, we are from Michigan and were definitely ready for a drink and good food!

Beer selection and prices is on par with other similar establishments. Food is okay, typical, and priced a tad higher then what it taste like its worth. Staff is friendly for the most part with little to no emotion, which is either a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it. At the end of the day, it just kind of felt a little empty of soul and too similar to other places that have a huge list of beers. Nothing seemed too special about this place, but for a quick bite and a drink, Id say its okay.

Was told it was a 15 minute wait for a table. After 30 minutes we checked our status and were told we were next in line for a table. When the hostess called us, we were told we could sit at a "community table with others" or wait for a "real table." We lost our seats at the bar when we went to the hostess station so we left. My fiance got one beer and I got one glass of wine at the bar while we were waiting and the bill was $15.00. My advice is to look elsewhere if you want atmosphere and good service.

I took my 4 year old son here for lunch while we were running some errands on a Saturday. Its a big place and was only perhaps 1/3 full on a rainy day. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was good. I had one of their specialty burgers, which was cooked just like I like it, and my son had a kids hot dog. They have a good beer selection and prices were fair.

I went to the Pour House on 7/28 around 6PM, found a seat at the bar and after about 6 minutes I was asked what beer I would like and if I wanted a menu. The bartenders all seemed to hover around the regulars or their friends. After about 25 minutes I just gave up and paid for my one beer and went to Sly Fox to get much better service and something to eat.

I did not like it. Food was horrible and not much for your money. Was charged extra for fries instead of rice. My brother ordered chicken sliders and they look like stuff you would get in a Happy meal. The only thing that was good was the service. Thats the only reason I gave it 2 stars.

I love the Pour house food and I come here quite often but I will say the front of house staff is a little chilly when it comes to service. I never enjoy interacting with them up front but once you get past them and are seated at the bar or table the rest of the wait staff is great!
