We visited the bar to see a friends band play. I was impressed that they fit a band in the small bar and the atmosphere was great. However the service was not. It was a Saturday night and they only had one bar tender working so it took a while to get drinks. There were 2 other employees (managers/owners?) behind the bar off and on but they werent actually pouring drinks. It quickly became apparent that if you werent buddies with the staff, you werent a priority. Also, there are two unisex bathrooms in the bar (which I have zero issues with). But when I was exiting one of them bathrooms later in the night there was a man using the other one with the door open. I said something immediately to one of the managers and he shrugged and said, "What, does that offend you?" And I said well, yes. And he just laughed and walked back behind the bar. The bartender working was very nice and working very hard but because of how that place is run, we will not be back.

My fiancee and I have lived in the area for 2 yrs and loved restaurants such as Porterhouse (Lahaska) and Waterwheel (Doylestown). We tried Bobbys since we had yet to try it but were extremely dissapointed by the food and service. We ordered 3 courses, would have been 4 but the waitress never offered a dessert menu. The buffalo wings were ok but rushed by our salads whom the waiter had no idea even which table to serve them to. Entrees- my wild mushroom ravioli was a watered down mess, tasting of nothing but salt. My fiances salmon was far overcooked and the first time Ive not seen him finish a fish entree. It was sad overall because for the same price, we would have enjoyed Chambers down the road far more for alot less money. I hope Bobbys gets on the right track but unless youre just looking for a patio table to be seen at, this is not the place in D-town to go.

Brought my girl friend here for Valentines dinner. When making the reservation I was not told about the special, very expensive, menu for the day. I must not have been the only one because we watched 5 couples sit down just to get up and leave when they saw the menu. Then the waitress was in a bad mood and almost rude, Im guessing from all the walk outs. Not 1 item in either of our 3 course meals was what I would consider quality. The sea food had a freezer burn taste and the dessert brownie was stale. $150 for 2 people with sub-par food.... Will not go back there.

Great bar and restaurant - I am there weekly and the overall atmosphere and food are great. There is live music on the bar side most nights. The menu is good and a value for what you get. If you have a larger gathering there is a room you can reserve on the second floor of the bar with its own bar and deck. Usually the owner is around and will stop by to greet you, not many places like that. Overall one of my favorite places to go in Doylestown...no pretentiousness, no attitude, just a decent atmosphere with good company and food.

Note that they have moved to a new location that opened in June and the menu is very different from the Main St location (although I miss the Spuntinos pizza on the menu) so you can ignore the food reviews that are older than June. Definitely go check out their new location. My son, wife and I went Fathers day weekend and had a great meal (and beer for me). I think that the burger is one of the best in town now that Basically Burgers has closed. Service was good and staff was friendly.

Went here for valentines day with my girlfriend. We sat down and the owner gave my girlfriend a chocolate heart stick.Food was pretty good. We both got the filet and I would say it a pretty good steak. Was a bit overpriced in my opinion. The fries are a must for appetizer or during meal.Near the end of the meal they had a man playing some music and singing. If you are a coffee person, definitely get a cup at the end of the meal. Was sat immediately

I went there in May and it was absolutely awful. The service was terrible and I got sick from eating mussels there. I decided to give it another shot though. The food was actually not too bad the second time but there was a hair in my girlfriends sandwich. When we mentioned it to the server she went to the kitchen then came back and told us we could have a complimentary dessert. Unbelievable.... Thanks but no thanks.

Came here with friends on a Friday night and enjoyed their beverages. The next Sunday, I was looking for a place to watch an NFL game with a buddy. I decided on this place because i figured it would be quiet, with good TVs. I was correct. NFL Specials included $1.50 of their light lager, and a nice appetizer sampler. Pickles are good.

Cute little place, open windows into the alley, town bar feel. I enjoyed all the beers but my boyfriend only cared for the Junipale. The Kolsch was a light easy drinker. Go for the 7 beer flight because YOLO. Not too vegetarian friendly but meat eater peeps would enjoy the selection!

My husband and I were so excited to try this restaurant, made a reservation, got seated and then nearly a half hour went by with no waiter to be seen. We ended up leaving and going down the street for dinner. Such a shame the menu looked great.

My girlfriend and I each ordered a flight of three beers. The IPA was the best, seconded by the Irish style stout. The only one we didnt like was made with cinnamon. It was a quiet time of day, so I cant comment much, and we didnt eat anything.

Love Bobbies, Mike Conti is the nicest man in the world! The bar manager is a total dick though... Rich or something. If you can avoid him, its amazing! The seats in between the bar and restaurant are the best, except when its packed.

Food is so-so, except steak. Flavoring and sauces of seafood were bland and salty. Super expensive for what is served. Service and and atmosphere were fine.

We had heard so many good things - but in hind site it was from singles as a bar - as a restaurant - meh -
