My husband and I had a delicious dinner at Arugula last night. We ordered in such a way that we could share and taste a few different dishes and the waiters were happy to oblige. The course timing was perfect and the waitstaff were friendly and simply excellent servers. Top notch. First, the grilled romaine salad with caramelized onions was completely delicious. I would easily order the large size for lunch and beg for a protein to be added (as our host, Ray, suggested) . The eggplant pizzette was tasty. Second , we shared an unbelievable and simple pasta dish. I strong armed my hubby into a capellini dish with cherry tomatoes, argula, olive oil and garlic. AMAZING (with red or white wine). The chef split the dish for us and the portion was generous. It left hubby praising my choice!! Third, the main event. We split a fantastic veal dish, served with sausage and in a red sauce. The veal (cutlet style) was not breaded...thank god! It was so tender. Paired with the sausage I was in heaven. Plenty for two.The fresh bread was so fresh (hot!) it provided an excellent back drop for the veal, sausage and sauce. Arugulas prices are quite nice on the wallet! The BYOB aspect is just wonderful. Bring a bottle of Chianti Classico along and impress your friends or honey! The lunch menu looks amazing, cant wait to take some co-workers in! I will be a hero!!

The Arugula Ristorante has a warm atmosphere, clean appearance, and most importantly, amazing food. I have been there twice and so far, neither time has disappointed. The second time, I brought a coworker with me and he ordered the pasta fagioli, which he said was the best hed ever had. So far, Ive tried one of the panini, and the gnocchi ai pomodorini. The chips that came with the panino were somewhere in between a regular potato chip and a fry. Its hard to describe, but Ive never had better home made fries than that. The bread that they serve you with your dinner is delicious as well. It comes out warm, soft, and flavorful. I plan on bringing my wife there next time.

Very solid family Italian restaurant in the Wilmington area! I was greeted very kindly by the hostess and she checked on me throughout my visit (without being too in my business). Food was excellent and it was a nice mix of very classic Italian with some of their own creative touches. Its a BYOB so go down to Swigg Wine Shop and grab yourself a bottle of vino to take with you. Why not 5 stars? Only because I reserve 5 stars for stuff that is truly an exceptional experience... I will definitely come back to Arugula for excellent Classic Italian.

Second time Ive been to arugula. The restaurant is a byob which I love not only can it keep the bill lower which allows me to tip the server more but total concentration on awesome food. Service was outstanding and the atmosphere is lively without being intrusive or loud. Would definitely go there again

The food was great, and our server was very sweet, but the host was rude. He ignored our group for close to 10 minutes, no hello or anything, made a joke that was weird and not funny and then sat us. We ended up having a very nice time, but it certainly gave us a bad first impression.

Okay for a quiet catch-up with friends. Spinach salad was good. Service okay. Not very welcoming, AC was not very efficient. The temperature was 105 outside, so they kept the curtains closed to keep the place cooler. Was told that the AC never works very well.

The table side fish was awful. By the time the waiter filet it the spinach and pasta were cold. The table nearby complained too. The owner didnt seem to care. With tip $72. Very bad experience. Just dont go there.

Best restaurant around. The food isnt heated in a microwave so the heat and taste lasts for so long and the service is the best! I recommend anytime! Its a little pricey but your definitely getting what you paid for!

Great traditional Italian food with a warm family atmosphere. Since it is a BYOB restaurant, the focus is on the food which our party of 4 deemed the best. Definitely a place we will return to in the future.
