The reason for the 1 star is for take out. If it was for dining in it would be a 5 star as I have eaten there twice before and was very pleased. Having spent my fair share of time in bar/restaurants both as a patron and bartender I have just a tad of experience. The two times I dined in the waitresss were very friendly and informative. The food for bar food as far as I am concerned is top notch. That is why when trying to decide what to have for dinner I thought it was a good bet. They have the best onion rings with this horseradish sauce. I called around 9:15 and was disappointed to find out they were no longer serving the dinner menu so I couldnt get the great burgers they have. So I went with the onion ring and shrimp & tomato bisque. Onion rings were not as good but that was to be expected with take out so no foul there. The bisque was also very good but they must have run out because the cup was half full and for $6 was not worth it. The major problem that I had was the people working this night. It was on Tuesday the 8th. When I walked in the hostess asked how she could help me and told her that I was just there for take out so she replied just go to the bar. I walked up to the server area and saw my order sitting there with the receipt. So I got out the money with a 20% tip. It was not that busy and had to wait a few minutes and the hostess saw me standing there but never moved from leaning on a post. Finally the bar tender came over and said all set. I said I guess this is mine and she took the money without saying another word. Not let me make sure everything is there or a thank you, nothing. I wish I could have asked for the tip back but as I mentioned I have worked in the service industry and just let it be. So my review would be stay away from the take out and dine in. That way you only have to deal with the ditsy hostess when she seats you and never have to deal with the miserable bartender.

Blah. The food was weird and while their black and blue was good, it was only one of about four beers on tap. There wasnt anything on the menu that caught my attention, so I went with the steak frites. Not terrible, but there was nothing great about it, either. And the bread pudding they serve with the otherwise good cabbage soup was just plain disgusting. Supposedly, some people like to torture themselves with it. I dont think Ill be back, but I also never say never and do give everyone and everything a second try/chance.

June 19th 2015....The bartenders were horrible....bad attitudes and they assumed that I didnt want change from my fifty and put the difference in the tip jar....sorry buddy your not that good at your job. Wings were not good....but getting back to your bartenders....I know at least 12 people that have boycotted the place because of the bartenders....time to move on boys..fresh (good) attitude needed.

This review is for the dining experience. The hot wings are actually pretty good. Unfortunately the other items were not. The salad I ordered, yes probably my fault for ordering a salad at an Irish bar, contained wilted greens and was definitely not fresh. The service was good and the premises were typical for an Irish bar. Overall an ok place for beer and wings but thats probably it.

After having gone to the Blarney Stone Mondays for the past 6 years, Ive seen the wings go from 15 cents to 25 to 35 and finally to 50. Unfortunately, Even though their wing sauce (mild) is very good, the size of the wings are terribly small. Excusable at 15 and 25 cents, not so much at 50. Were moving on to another place, I hope they wise up!

Free live acoustic music Friday nights. Good beer on tap. Surprisingly tasty pub food. Plus, when you order a mix drink, the bartenders usually ask if you want a double or not. Its a casual, friendly "Cheers" type pub. Plus, best cole slaw around. Sweet, and crispy unlike the mushy mess you get elsewhere.

Normally bar food is pretty suspect. Well, not this place! The food here is ridiculously good, while the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. The live music on the weekends makes for a great date night, but you can enjoy it any day of the week.

Passed this place for years.....only after moving out this way did I stop. Great bartenders, great food and a really attractive layout. I will be back, my new hangout. March 24 - Ron is off his game. Not helpful, and a little rude.

French Onion Burger is absolutely perfect! Most burgers are sloppy and difficult to hold together, sometimes wet and messy. This French Onion Burger is one for the ages! I loved it.

Pretty good spot. Kicked us out at 9pm after we came for a bite to eat after a family function. Apparently I cant even sit at a table (not at the bar) with my 17 year old brother.
