The South Lib is liking taking a trip back in time... To a day where Rebel flags and gun racks ruled the road.. Under direct Dictatorship by the owner of this establishment the security is specifically ordered to target the largest problems of running a successful watering hole. The security preys upon men With HATS slightly tilted, or pants that are not properly fitting.. Now they can be as tight as you want but loose fitting is not permitted.. Never mind the drunk girl in the parking lot puking her life out, or the hit n run victim accross the street or the intoxicated man that attacked and raped a lady after drinking in your establishment.. No.. lets focus on tilted hats and loose fitting jeans.. Not the fact That you dmserve poison to people And send them into the night to wreck havoc upon the world... If I were you I would take my business elsewhere.. South Lib gets two thumbs down..

Went there for lunch and I was the only one out of 5 dudes in the place to order food. Apparently I had to try the prime rib sandwich cause it was so good, per apparently the owner. I ordered it. And 45 minutes later, I still didnt get it. So the bartender apologized and I needed to take it to go. To my surprised it was not a freaking sandwich. It was pieces of meat sliced thin with some mashed potatoes smothered with packaged brown gravy and some nasty ass white bread slices. It was my first time there and definitely my last time. I normally dont do reviews but this was so bad I feel I had to do a public service announcement. If I could rate this place a 0 I would have.

Love everything about this place! They Are always changing & fixing up things, so its very clean! Awesome staff including the owners, they are super nice & attentive, always saying hi & making sure we are being well taken care of. Food & drinks a great, eggs Benedict on Sundays is my favorite! Im loving the live bands on Sat nights again! They dont take credit cards after 9pm, but have an ATM on site so no biggie! I highly recommend the South Liberty Bar & Grill

Went there on karaoke night with my friends. The place is clean and the staff really friendly. Im not sure whats with these other bad reviews I thought the staff were really nice and the drinks REALLY cheap. GREAT value! The KJ was fun and they had a descent selection of music. My only complaint was that the place seemed a bit empty and slow while I was there. It wasnt really the "happening" place but I think it could be on the right night.

Love South Lib! Excellent pricing, very professional bartenders and customer service. This place is one of the cleanest bars Ive been to. They have a huge variety of food options and I have never ordered something I havent loved here. Live bands ever weekend! Nice, heated smoking session and patio for when the sun in shining!

Today sucked. If you are thirsty be prepared to go to the bar and ask. Two people working not (Amanda). It is even slow and still crap service. Amanda the bar Goddess ROCKS. Other servers need to take note from her. Bar is awesome when Amanda works. You never are something to drink and or eat.

Worst bar of all time. If you like to be stereotyped and kicked out then this is the bar for you. If your personality type is being a loud person then they will automatically think you are drunk and will not serve you.Ridiculous people running this bar and the security guards have no soul.

We came here for a friends birthday. They lied to us all night first they said they didnt serve pitchers and that they didnt take credit cards. They just wanted cash tips and for us to pay more for single beers. Found out after the fact. Dont go here unless you want to get ripped off

Bartender tonight is all about herself and her regulars. Spent half hour here. If your not a regular. You are nobody. So disappointing. I tip well. (server for yrs) customers service not with this tender. She is all about the dudes at the bar. Wow!!

Its a dive that still smells like a dive you can smoke in. Dark like a cave. I cant think of any reason to pick this over any other like bar in the area unless you have a DUI and its raining or the tire in your kids bike you stole is flat.

Great service. Nice staff that has been hear for a long time. Always good service and good food and and drink . Never will disipoint you. We have been going to this grill for 20 years and it has always been our favorite. Give it a try.

Went to this bar for the first time on Saturday and It was by far the best bar in Salem they had a live band that was really good and a dance floor!! Great service, great food, great environment! I will definitely be going back!

I had a great time. I do not know why everyone doesnt like the place. Its clean, food is excellent, everyone was nice to me, I got my drinks right away... Its really nice inside as well. Lots of TVs, nice big stage...

Good food. Plenty of space, tables, tvs, NFL ticket. Breakfast served till 2pm, not till 2:01! Only 3 servers total on staff during fairly busy Sunday afternoons, so expect service to be a little slow.
