Terrible! They took an order for an ice cream cone without telling us that the car in front of us (drive through) had ordered everything on the menu in great quantity. After 15 minutes of waiting for a single cone, and not seeing a DQ employee in the service window the whole time,I finally pulled out of line with my kid in back wondering where is the cone. I parked and went in. They had no customers that they were working on other than the large order placed by the car in front. They never suggested that maybe it would be faster if I came in, nor did they suggest to the customer in front that his order was so large that he should pull around front, and theyd bring his food there. And they never ever payed attention to any customer, but just left us all in line inhaling the obnoxious exhaust fumes from the lead car. Finally, I pulled out of line and went in front. They were unapologetic and ignored my comments on the length of the wait. They served up a cone of dripping ice cream goo, which the kid had to "drink" immediately lest it melt right there. I was astonished the staff did not have an ounce of good customer service sense, and felt no remorse at all wasting the customers time.

I wont be returning to the mission st dairy queen, Ive gone there a few times and always had slow, rude service from immature teenagers without proper management and my last visit there was no exception. I waited about five minutes in line at the drive though for them to take the order of the car in front of me, drove up and the girl inside said they could only take cash unless you went inside. So I went inside and ordered; and while waiting the ten minutes for my two small, melted, and poorly mixed blizzards I got to listen to some other drive through customers come in and share their experience with the manager. After explaining about the rude and unprofessional behavior of the girl working the drive through the managers reply was, "So do you want a free cone or something then." After they explained they just thought the manager should know what kind of service customers were getting and leaving, the manager went and told the drive through worker and they started laughing about it together. Just another example of the customer service and lack of effort and care from the upper management at that location especially.

This is the worst dairy Queen in oregon. They have rude snotty teenagers working there who close early. Today I tried again to eat there this is what happened... First off I hate how they take my card and disappear for over 10 minutes.... Theno when they finally give me my food I had to ask for my card back! She gave me no recept but charged me 29 cents more than it actually cost and they forgot my pretzels....so I went inside .... and got my pretzels and when I asked about why they charged me 29 extra cents, the girl just said " oh you want that back? Here " so they are just charging people extra for fun and not giving recepts for proof.... as in STEALING money from its customers! Not that I really care about 29 cents but if they are charging everyone extra, then thats a lot of unaccounted for money! Also when I got home I found out that the cheese with my pretzels didnt even have a LID!!!!! So there was just cheese all over the bag. Needless to say Im pissed. Terrible service by teenagers who suck and dont care! Not going back.

So a little less than a week ago there was a mess up on my order and as I was talking with someone I pulled out my receipt and it was correct according to the receipt there was just a miscommunication on which sandwich I wanted. (These things happen) so she wrote my name down and said come in whenever and theyll make it right. So today I went in to get the replacement sandwich and Maria went above and beyond what anyone would do to make me the customer happy. Its customer service like this that you dont ever see now a days and I will gladly return because of it. And to the people who are complaining about long waits, when you have a $30+ dollar order of parfaits, blizzards, burgers, and blizzards dont expect it to just *poof* and magically appear out of thin air. These things take time to make. Have some patience or make them yourself at home and let me know how they turn out then.

*Dont do it ****!!!! Ive lived in salem oregon for over 20 years and have been coming here every so often since. Service here has never been all that great but lately it has hit an ALL TIME LOW! I also have a history in customer service and take great pride in making people feel not only welcome but that their business is appreciated. At the very least I expect to be treated with a certain level of dignity and respect when frequenting any business in salem. My last 2 visits ended terribly with me and my family feeling as though we were a downright inconvenience. The woman at the drive through was condescending, argumentative upon asking for an extra sauce and rude. I dont usually leave reviews but I feel its my responsibility to spread the word and prevent people being made to feel like garbage for no good reason. Just a heads up:) peace

This place is a joke. Last night I had just left the hospital. I need to eat with my meds. A girl with a accent I hardly understood also couldnt understand me through the crappie drive through speakers. I wanted chicken strip basket with a small milkshake. Ok well we cant replace milkshake for a drink. Would you like a drink for a dollar more? I said ya ok a small shake and a small root beer and 1 chicken strip basket 4 pieces. 12 min later, with just one car ahead of me with one person in it, while teanage employees are laughing and being funny in the window, I get my food. 1 chocote milkshake one chicken basket. No drink. I kept telling husband to just drive away after about 8 min, and he wouldnt. I refused to eat the food as they probably spit in it. Whats wrong with these kids and who owns this Place? It used to be a good place.

I pulled up into the drive-thru, so far so good. I place my order and no total is given so I drive up to the window to pay. After waiting for five minutes with no greeting I finaly get helped. I pay my bill and get my food. The lid was off the salad and the fries tasted like they had been under the hot light all day. My blizzard cup had ice cream all over all sides and I asked for her to wipe it and put a lid on it since my order is obviously to go. I get a dirty look and she wipes it and puts a lid on it. The food was far below average for fast food and for the price I could have eaten at a sit down restraunt. I will never go there again. I will also tell anyone else not to eat there. Also the blizzard was like soup. I called to complain to DQ but no-one awnsered the phone. Jeff
