A nice neighborhood dive bar. The seating was very comfortable. They had big green captain chairs that looked like they got them from an 80s Bingo Parlor. They swiveled and reclined and you could adjust the height. A divey sports bar with some of the most comfy chairs earns it that extra star from generic 3 star dive bar. They had TVs in all the right places and actually played the sound from the game. Ive been to some"sports bars" that dont play the game audio, instead opting for some Top 40 playlist. They had plenty of seating. A great thing since we watched the USC Oregon game. The drinks were cheaper. Maybe even better than generic dive bar prices. Jello Shots were a buck (Always fun and cheap to buy a round of those). PBR on draft was $2. My total tab for 8 beers and 8 jello shots was $26. Score!!!!BOARD!! I didnt try the food since we ate before hand because I am not really a fan of divey bar food. Service was friendly and the drinks came quick. I live pretty far from this place, but if the opportunity arose, I would definitely hang out at the Scoreboard again. Give em a point!

I looked down and checked other reviews and they keep mentioning the friendly staff; I have only been once and that was not my experience. I admit I came in with some coworkers and we were a party of 11 and we pushed some tables together (this was after we asked the bartenders if it was ok to do so.) We also came up to the bar to order and each of us had separate tabs from the beginning. I am not quite sure where I went wrong but each time I went up for a drink the bartender made it seem like I was not welcome there. She would not look me in the eye, kept communication to one word replies, and seemed upset when I asked any question. I know this was not her typical demeanour as she had conversations with other patrons and even my coworkers. I hate to say it, but I have a feeling it was due to me not being white :/ Hopefully it is different for others who go here.

Good beers for cheap. The bartenders do a seriously great job dealing with a huge range of personality types without getting surly. The food mostly kind of sucks but its pretty cheap and absolutely creates a bed of food matter for the swill youre probably dumping on top of it. They have a good range of games, the most decent internet jukebox Ive seen, and karaoke in addition to a host of daily getyoudrunkforcheap specials. I think they show most sportsball events here.

The environment is whatever you make it, which is great because you will have fun if you choose to have fun. The jukebox there has a great selection of music, albeit its a bit pricey but definitely makes the atmosphere. The drinks are reasonably priced, somewhat less pricey than surrounding bars, actually. They have three pool tables and a lot of pinball machines. Its a big space, so large groups of people are easily accommodated.

As one of Portlands last remaining (actual) dives, Scoreboard is a testament to the resilience of the blue-collar spirit in the most nonchalant and natural ways. The bartenders are lovely in both demeanor and interactivity; no one gets forgotten and everyone is a neighbor. Please, dont tell everyone. Make it a password sort of thing, yeah? (Oh, and the debate was hilariously MST3Ked among strangers. Damn good.)

Arcade machines in this place are not maintained. Cowboy shooter game just eats quarters without letting you start a game. Buck hunter game guns behave oddly - they dont shoot properly. Addams family machine doesnt have shoot again ball save working.
