Im a regular here. Basic breakfast offered and fair coffee but an excellent space and vibe. I would suggest a few things, if I may, that the staff smile more or have a better sense of care as Baristas/Servers; add actual loose tea; improve the croissant breakfast sandwich; & mute the soccer games on the tv, it is a cafe after all. The chili is great! And always plenty of seating, even when busy. They have outdoor seating, too, so you can stop by while walking your dog around the park nearby. I will keep going but I do hope for them to become more excellent not just good enough. Cheers.

Big comfortable space with friendlier staff than most coffee shops I know. My biggest complaint is that its difficult to meet a friend there, because they dont have an obvious sign. The windows say coffee, sandwiches, espresso but the name of the cafe is apparently a secret. If you are snob about your coffee you might be disappointed. If you are looking for a coffeeshop near PSU which is open on Sunday then this is the place for you.

If this is about experience, I recently attempted to dine here for some lunch and the employees (the owner and a woman) did not even acknowledge my existence as two stood in front of me. My opinion, a little customer service training "hi, Ill be right with you" or (eye contact) would serve this place. I waited for 6 minutes. Cool. I heard the soup is good though...you wont see me there.

Customer service is sub-par. Terse and chilly demeanor from clerk. Order was a bagel and cream cheese, took 20 minutes with no queue, and given the wrong bagel. Clerk decided the coffee filters and counting pennies took higher priority. If resting scowl face was a sport, all of the employees would win gold in the team competition. Bagel was tasty, though, so theyve got that going for them.

Love this place! Their breakfast borrito is huge and there sandwiches are always devine. Only negative is I wish you could sub. a salad for the Lays potato chips that they give you. Deffinitely give this place a shot...you wont be disappointed! Oh yes and their fresh bread is super yummy on every sandwich Ive ever eaten. :)

Its a decent place, doesnt have a whole lot going for it, but its decent nonetheless. They serve primarily sandwiches which are alright, although they feel a bit on the expensive side. Definitely a nice place to relax and peek at the ongoings of Park Blocks though. It has nice artwork and stuff to read while you munch away.

Good food selection with fresh ingredients, this unfortunately leads to them running out of some items most days. Havent tried any drinks. Cooking time is a little slow at times but it seems to be because they rely heavily on a few all star team members to do a lot of multitasking. Overall, very satisfied.

Nice atmosphere, stays pleasantly busy but there usually seems to be some place to sit. Ive come here for coffee a few times. Theres a TV screen toward the back which is sometimes on with sports, not really my thing. I would also like to see vegan options.

great location, great espresso everything else is terrible. food is bad and overpriced if you are lucky enough for them to get your order right. Service is grumpy to start with, even more so when you tell them they didnt get your order right

This is probably the second best cafe in the general PSU area, with the #1 spot going to Revolución. The drinks are good and quite consistent. The food is pretty good too, but takes a while to prepare - keep this in mind if youre in a hurry.

Its warm and welcoming and an important alternative to the ten trillion Starbucks in and around campus. They have simple comfort food, plus theres usually some good Middle Eastern fare. And personally I think their cappuccinos are terrific.

Cozy, friendly, and good Illy coffee. Put down your sugered up Starbucks and try some real coffee. Nice cozy atmosphere and light meals. Their eggs Benedict is great and so are their lattes. The staff was warm and kind to customers.

Good cafe with many options to choose from. There is a lot of seating though they are busy often and run out of specific items very early in the day. I recommend going early if youre going to go as theres less of a rush.

Took 35 minutes for two bagels with cream cheese on a dead sunday morning. Wrong order came out with no apology- serving without any customer service skills just because youre on a college campus is unacceptable.

My favorite study spot on campus. The owner is onsite running the day to day operations. After only a couple months, he remembered my drink order and now has it ready to go before I reach the register!

Their salmon benedicts are amazing, and breakfast wraps are delicious as well. The only issue Ive ever had was the occasional cramped seating. Other than that I really enjoy the food and atmosphere.

one of the best places for a small meal and good coffee near campus. the atmosphere is cozy, chatty, and casual, and the menu is large for a cafe. seating can be scarce midday.

I love everything about this place except for one omnipresent employee whose red-lipsticked smile (when she bothers to smile) never reaches her cold eyes. She creeps me out.

This is a special place -- friendly, great food & coffee, comfortable, elegant. I spent many a morning at Park Ave. Cafe while in Portland, and look forward to returning!

Good lentil soup and coffee, along with a nice atmosphere make Park Cafe a viable and preferred alternative to the nearby Starbucks. The bad: very few vegan options.

No real vegan options for food, but the atmosphere is nice and always full of studying PSU students. The coffee is OK but I wouldnt come here for food.

The food is average yet way overpriced. They dont do refills on coffee, which is unfortunate. The service is marginal. Overall not a good experience.

Ho-hum. Not bad, except Illy coffee always tastes bad in my opinion. Not especially reasonably priced, though not horribly overpriced either.

I love their coffee. Its my go to place while on campus. Great sandwiches, the breakfast bagel is superb. A little overpriced.

Such a cute place! Delicious soy mocha. And I loved the classical music that was playing. Really set the mood.

Oatmeal took forever and was undercooked. I think it would have tasted good though if cooked

Over priced. Food is something you could get at Safeway. Service inattentive and rude

Friendly employees, nice vegetarian options too! I really enjoyed my bagel sandwich.

EM

The breakfast menu is great and served all day. They serve the best coffee near PSU.

TO

Good food, great location, would definitely frequent if I was a Portland resident!

AR

Latte taste awful and small cappachino was a gulp size ripoff never going back

Best place in town to have a good cup of coffee and watch European Football.
