I ordered a Bagel with Cream Chees, and when I got back to work the bagel had so much cream cheese on it I had to take it off, there was so much cream cheese on that one bagel, where I had enough cream cheese to put on at least two more bagels. I called them, and the lady treated me like she did not care, and she was like ok..she never once said sorry, or we can refund your money..or replace with a new one or nothing to try to fix the situation she was just like oh well I do not complain about things, but there service is not great, and it was not a friendly atmosphere when I went in there, and I will not go back there, and the sad part is I work down the street. So it will be worth the drive for me to go to Starbucks,at least I will get some good customer service, and if I am spending my money in your establishment I think that is not alot to ask.. I would not recommend this place to anyone

Ive worked a 30 second walk from Goldrush for almost five years now and its my go-to for a coffee when Im too lazy to use my offices French press. When I do get food, it never lets me down. They use Broadway Bagels as the basis for a ton of delicious sandwiches, all of which are super budget-friendly. Im always greeted by a friendly human so no complaints there. Keep on keepin on, Goldrush!

Goldrush is what coffee shops used to be before Starbucks and the other mass-market chains; friendly people serving fresh coffee, breakfast bagels and sandwiches in a relaxed, authentic (what might now be referred to as "vintage") atmosphere thatll make you want to hang out for a while. Always a pleasant experience.

I really do like this place, but I wonder if their cups/lids are faulty because every single time I go there, no matter what size of coffee I get, it always leaks all over everything from underneath the brim where the lid attaches. I cant figure out what the problem is and frankly, it keeps me from coming back.

This coffee house on MLK is different than most places youd find in portland. It reminds me a lot more of a coffee shop in new york or san francisco because of its open air vibe and limited seating. Really a cool place. I used to go work here on weekends and always felt welcome.

The service was top notch and the sandwich was very satisfying! Even though it was during a busy spell, it took moments to get my coffee and someone had my sandwich out not long after. HIt the spot on a rainy day, happy to come back again!

Ive come a few times and have been charged different prices for the same drink. Ive also noticed that the steam wand isnt always cleaned between uses which can be worrisome if you never saw the last drink that was made.

Nice little rustic spot (come on folks, its called Goldrush for a reason). Espresso based drinks are well done and reasonably priced. Staff is somewhat friendly but barista doesnt seem like she wants to be there.

This is one of my two favorite coffee shops in town. The staff is great, the espresso drinks are delicious, and the atmosphere is very chill and relaxing if you want to stay awhile. I come here often.

I feel fortunate to have Goldrush as my neighborhood coffee spot. The people that work here are all absolutely lovely and the place is just the best. Cozy and genuine good vibes.

I ordered a bagel with cream cheese, when I got home I found that there was not enough bagel for all the cream cheese. I was like OMG who cheesed all over my bagel, I loved it.

Yes, like coffeehouses of San Francisco, where I really feel welcome and not rushed, very family-ly! Thanks for super dark coffee in the Almond Cappuccinos. And vegan treats.

One of my favorite coffee shops that I frequent regularly. They make a damn good mocha and love that they carry hemp milk. The cookies they make are to die for!

Really good coffee. Went here on a quick Portland visit... very Portlandesque! Would come again. Reasonably priced menu with good bagel sandwiches.
