An OK place to go if the bartender knew how to handle their customers. One young man became belligerently drunk and tried to fight a FEW different people. In his drunken words threatened to put someone "in the grave," and tired to become physical with them. After that the bar tender kicked out who he threatened... Could this be due to the fact the young mans parents use to own Rodders and she worked from them as well? HMMM... Death threats are NOT ok, even if your child of the previous owners... Bartender should have been giving the young man a talk instead of looking dumb sticking up for him making death threats ok on her shift. THIS would be the "tweaked out" bartender that was previously spoken of in a review. Havent fired her yet, they must like tweakers with crap service working for them.

I might recommend this roadside ruin if you enjoy long waiting in excessively smoke filled rooms and enjoy dealing with disobliging staff. After visiting although, you might find the wait staff returning with caustic remarks from having to be obliged to serve new customers. I would discourage all from having to visit or even entertain the idea of possibly visiting the aptly named “Rodder’s Pub and Grub” roadside wreck. The wait staff possibly might amuse their own familiar acquaintances, but after inviting friends to adventure and try some local fare one weekend I should never expect to return after waiting 45 minutes and receiving the greatest amount of refuse I could ever expect, referring both to the food-overcooked and lacking flavor, and the service-rude and ultimately belligerent.

This place is so dirty. Absolutley filthy. I cannot belief it hasnt been shut down. The female bartender was so tweaked out, she must of been up for days. She was so high she was contorting her face. It was so obvious. She had absolutely no business being at work. We couldnt stop laughing at her. It was really pathetic. Quit hiring tweakers! Or at least have the good sense to send them home when the are so high they cant even talk, let alone do there job. We where there on mothers day. If the owners read this im sure you can figure out who im refering to. Get.her into rehab. Or get rid of her.

Absolutely terrible service. Takes too long to get your order. Looked for a bartender in the back for 15 minutes before going to the front bar where I stood for 10 minutes waiting to order breakfast to be told he wouldnt accommodate my order and I had to go find the bartender in the back. Unfortunate that I had to be there for a tournament

I have been here several times, all times I have had awesome service, fun atmosphere, great drinks and fun playing shuffle board. I would recommed to anyone that wants a great place to unwind after a long week. Dont know about Jim s comment below, but he looks like he writes all kinds of bad reviews. Bad Jim.

I was just at this bar for the nba finals game 7. this is a fairly decent size bar with tvs watching all sports games all over every wall. no smoking inside, a fair amount of pool tables, stiff drinks and good amount of dart boards. a definate solid 4 stars.

We love the atmosphere, good food and the service! Bartender is great and knowledgeable! Can get pretty crowded but never more than they can bear . The crowds are always easy going and in 15 years I have never seen a fight.

My husband and I go to Rodders often. The bartenders are amazing and pour great drinks! They offer pool, darts and shuffleboard. Owners are usually on site and cater to your every need. They have the best burgers!
