My Go-To spot for sure on the weekend! Its a landmark, historical location that a lot of local people support. Dive bar for sure, but my definition of a Dive Bar is that its comfortable (meaning theres no obligation to dress up), and the people are very welcoming & friendly. Lots of private parking is a plus, and theyve got food is youre in the mood for a simple snack. Bartenders (Kyrk) I consider to be A1 - a veteran bartender that knows how to do his job, be pleasant with customers, or put someone in their place (if thats what needs to be done). I wouldnt mind seeing some renovations (but nothing that would take away the character of the bar) - its a great place as is, but a bit of spit & polish wouldnt hurt either. If you enjoy karaoke, this would certainly be a destination!
