First off they used to have sushi worth paying $10.00 or more for a roll, now I wouldnt take a free lunch from them. In the past they had issues with getting orders right, but they made an honest effort to make it right. So I decided to not hold that against them. This last time my office group ordered from there, well lets just say that the lack of freshness and flavor coupled with the fact that they still messed up our order was enough to say no more Momiji. Let me say that the sushi not only tasted bad, but was horribly prepared, I am pretty sure if you taught a 5 year old how to make a roll, they would have done a better job. I dont know if the rice was just improperly made or what, but their quality has gone so far down hill that I am pretty sure it would take a miracle to make them good again. The sashimi that I ordered tasted awful, I refused to finish it. The roll although did not taste nearly as bad, fell apart at the mere touch. I dont put soy on my rolls either because I like them to stay together when I eat them, not end up in a pile of rice mush with raw fish in it. Let me also point out that they somehow managed to screw up the cucumber salad as well. I figured I would have been safe with that at least, because how can you mess up cucumbers, rice vinegar and sesame seeds... well boy did they prove me wrong. The cucumbers were just literally odd shaped hunks that looked like they were tossed in a styrofoam cup and someone haphazardly splashed some rice vinegar in there and no sesame seeds, half of the cucumbers were seasoned the other half not. This salad has THREE ingredients, how could you not even get that right? Speaking of not getting orders right, I specifically told the girl taking the order, NO FISH EGGS, the person eating this veg roll is a vegetarian, she acknowledged it. Got it and guess what... eggs and lots of them. Okay fine they messed it up, gave them the chance to fix it. So while I stand there at the register waiting for her to remake the rolls, she goes and makes FOUR other orders before remaking mine. I am sorry but if someone calls in an order and is picking it up on their lunch break, they should not have to wait FIFTEEN MINUTES while YOU fix your mistake. I really hope someone that manages this restaurant reads this, because the people you have working for you is slowly killing your business. I can get better service and better tasting sushi at a conveyor belt sushi place than here. If you insist on still charging $10.00 or more for each roll, then get your crap together, because you just lost a large office that frequented your establishment regularly. If any of you are looking for good quality traditional Chinese dishes however,, walk across the street to Sing Fay and ask for their traditional menu. I have never ordered anything off it that was bad or was not delicious. Even their plain white rice is amazing.

Used to absolutely freaking love this place back when it was managed by... Frank I think his name was or Jim or John or Steven..Jake... some dudes named, you know some dude, with the name that belongs to a dude... anyway its under new management now and the quality has drastically decreased. It seems like they have a new sushi chef in there every week which is probably the case considering they are in the heart of WOU campus, so theyre probably employing college kids that are stoned... they do try their best to make everything Celiac friendly and do offer gluten-free tempura and gluten free soy sauce, although I have gotten sick once or twice from eating there. Now I only go if I cannot fight the craving and dont wanna drive to Corvallis to go Sada Sushi. Their miso soup is not gluten free btw.

I got the 12 pc Magic roll and the Chicken Yakisoba with the intent to take it home and eat it for lunch the next day, because I thought 12 pieces was a lot of sushi. However, they cut their sushi so thin that two pieces there were the size of one piece at most other places Ive been, so it was really more like a 6 pc, which turned it from a great deal to more than I usually spend on that amount of sushi. The sushi itself was absolutely delicious though. The chicken yakisoba was overcooked and bland. The service was pretty good, I would recommend getting sushi here.

I consider myself to be a very picky sushi eater. (So picky, I often avoid trying new sushi places as a result.) This place was dee-li-shus! Lunch combo was an excellent option ($10.85) two 8 piece rolls with delicious seaweed salad & miso soup! I cant wait to go back on a Tuesday to try their two rolls for the price of one! I only gave it four stars because my favorite sushi place holds the gold medal.

The service was incredibly poor. We sat for an hour before receiving our food, received 1 miso soup when we should have had 3, requested substitute noodles and rolls that we never received, and ended up missing an entire bento order. They made one for us free of charge in the end but it was too late of an apology. There are plenty other Momijis that we can visit in its stead.

Excellent experience! Had the Spinal Tap, the Spicy Mango, and the Spicy Octopus. They were very fresh and well worth the price! I even received extra Spinal Tap rolls-which were hot and had a perfect crunch-probably since I knew what I wanted to order and made it simple. Paired it with a Strawberry Ramune drink as well. Definitely will go back when I visit Oregon again!

Our go to sushi place. Quality food at reasonable prices. We often do Tuesday 2 for 1 deals. Service is always very friendly, although you do have to remind them about something you asked for sometimes. Definitely recommend though.

Consistently good and the specials make it really affordable. If youre hungry, get the lunch special, and the roll of the day.. It will be like $14 for three 8pc rolls, cucumber salad, and miso soup!
