Friday October 31st was our first and only experience at this restaurant. We were seated and waited for our waiter when they did come to ask what drinks we would like it took another 20 minutes to bring them. . It took over an hour and 15 minutes to get our meal and we were very disappointed in what we were served. I could taste metal from the tomato sauce in my lasagna. My husbands chicken Mona Lisa was served last and was thrown all together. The waiter asked would you like potatoes, pasta, or rice for your side. Would you like your veggies sauteed or steamed? He asked for pasta for the side. It was tasteless and not presented well, it was like a stir fry ..no sauce tasteless.. Our friends had chicken Marsala which had no flavor at all. The vegetables were steamed and were flavorless. The rice was the same no flavor. When asked if everything was good we responded no and explained why. The waiter was not available for us. We were never asked after meal was brought if we needed anything or wanted anything else. Our dinner was eaten with much dismay...I ate very little and left remainder there. There were only 7 tables being served and a party of 10. The owner spoke with us and said the party of 10 is what slowed everything down. So if you are thinking of going for dinner here ..you may want to rethink if there are more than 10 people already seated. Because the others ate their meals..mind you we all were hungry...the owners excuse was how was he to know or believe the food wasnt good. I had eaten a very few bites of my lasagna. How is this place even still in business? We went there for dinner based on other reviews and it was quite possibly the worst meal experience of my life. I rarely do reviews but this was so bad I had to save others from this horrific experience. As soon as we walked in a rank smell assaulted my nostrils. I asked my wife and buddy if they could smell it too and they both responded with "ya....what is that?" We almost walked out and went to Sharis, now I wish I had. To start with, the place was not very busy, only 2 or 3 other tables had people at them the biggest party being 4. We had 4 adults and 2 kids under 6. I could see and hear the kitchen staff from my seat and after 45 minutes of waiting i heard the kitchen call out our order to START. My wife said maybe they were calling it out to plate it. Nope after an hour and a half of waiting our terrible food finally came out. My wife and I had a pizza. It was a frozen premade crust with plain tasteless tomato sauce some plain mozzarella cheese and a few pieces of greasy cheap meat. Ive had frozen microwave pizza that tastes better. My buddy had the Banner chicken. It was a frozen premade patty that they dumped some condensed cream of mushroom soup on.....really? His wife had the battered halibut. It looked like cod at best and tasted terrible....very strong fishy taste to the point of being pungent. Maybe they do breakfast good as all the pics are of breakfast food and most of the good reviews are about breakfast. But for as long as it took to get terrible food when they werent even that busy I wouldnt risk ever eating there again.

My boyfriend and I just ate here this morning. The atmosphere was great, it is very clean, nice calm music, lighting is great. Our servers were very quick to open the door for us, and seat us, they took our order very quickly, brought us drinks almost immediately, and our food was at our table in a very timely manner even though they were kind of busy. The servers both checked in on us frequently. Our meals were HUGE I took most of mine home with me and I was stuffed, the prices were great, we even got a booth in the back as we requested. I ordered the taco salad, it was probably the best I have ever had, which is saying a lot because I order them everywhere that I can. My boyfriend is very picky about his burgers, he got a stuffed burger, it had bacon, ham, and jalapenos stuffed in the center, he said it was the best he had ever had. McMinnville doesnt have many great restaurants, but this one is fantastic, I look forward to going back for our next date!

This is my first review of a restaurant, that is how good this place is. Both waiters were quick and responsive. They were also very nice and polite. They quickly took our order and shortly after I received my food. The portions here are amazing compared to anything else in the area. The music was nice and relaxing. I really felt like I could relax. We chose a booth, and they were fine with that and very respectful. My girlfriend had the taco salad which was literally two meals, and the most tasty thing she could ask for. I had the stuffed Banners cheeseburger which was literally stuffed with ham and bacon. It was one of the most amazing burgers I have had in my life. McMinnville lacks good burger places but this place has changed my mind. Fantastic portions and a great environment for a good meal at a reasonable price. 5/5 would eat again.

Lackluster experience. We had heard good things, but, the atmosphere was blah. I ordered a burger hold the mayo...yet, it came with mayo. The waitress didnt come back around so I just ate it without the top bun. Barely edible patty. I took leftover with, but, ended up just throwing away. My friend had breakfast. It was marginally better. Then we waited over 15mins for server to return to get check and pay after she took his plate and got me a to go box. We finally just went up to the register without the check and the cashier had to hunt her down so we could pay and leave. Overall. So-so service plus subpar food equals... We wont be back.

Im honestly not one to complain, but I have to make an exception, got seated instantly, but than took 15 min to take are order and bring us drink, and than another 15 to get refills at about the about 15 min after that we got are food, I got the chicken fried steak, hash browns and scrambled eggs, my normal basic easy brakefast, I was so sad that I was messed up, eggs were very and rubbery, hashbrows were undercooked and the inside was not cooked at all and cold, chicken fried stake was over cooked, gravy was cold, but hey the toast was perfect. Honestly I might try this place again, but not for awhile.

A true hidden gem. Dont waste your time waiting to be seated and getting cold usual restaurant food at Sheris. Banners is off the chain!! We have had breakfast, lunch and dinner there. All are fantastic! Their food is absolutely wonderful. They have a wide variety of items. We have had basic eggs as well as huevos ranceros (sp) sorry,. steaks and bacon lettuce tomato and avocado sandwiches...nice size portions and excellent food. Service is superb!! Friendly and very willing to accommodate any special requests. We are so glad they are here!!
