I WAS IN THE MOOD FOR A COLD DRINK AFTER AN EXHAUSTED DAY AT WORK, HAPPENED TO BE AROUND THIS PLACE AS SOON AS I ENTERED THE DOOR THIS GIRL THAT WAS MAKING A DRINK(THE ONLY ONE THERE AT AROUND 5PM ON 8/5/16) GREETED ME WITH A QUESTION INSTEAD OF A WELCOME I THOUGHT IT WAS REALLY RUDE TO DO THAT SINCE THIS IS A PUBLIC BUSINESS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD BE EMPHASIZE TO EMPLOYEES WHEN HIRED, ANYWAY THEN I KNOWLEDGE HER THAT I NEEDED TO USE THE RESTROOMS (MY BLADDER WAS TOO FULL) AND SHE FLATLY TOLD ME THAT RESTROOMS WAS FOR CUSTOMERS ONLY LOOKING AT ME LIKE IF I WAS GONNA STEAL SOMETHING FROM HER PURSE. WAOOOOOOOOOOW. THAT REALLY IGNITED MY PATRONAGE AND MADE ME FEEL THAT I PICKED AND PARDON MY FRENCH BUT ITS NEEDED,,, THE FKN WORSE PLACE IVE EVER VISITED IN MY LIFE TO GIVE MY BUSINESS TO. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE IN MY CIRCLE OF FRIENDS OR PEOPLE I KNOW. I GUESS NOW YOU CAN KEEP YOUR RESTROOMS EMPTY AS WELL AS YOUR BUSINESS!!!!

I started going to The Human Bean when I swore off Starbucks for their lack of customer service and burnt coffee. After my first visit to The Human Bean, I havent left! The staff is incredibly friendly and treats customers like guests in their own home. The brewed coffee is amazing....I can no longer stand Starbucks coffee after drinking this stuff.One of the best things is that the company is based in Oregon (Ashland) and this location is a franchise owned by a local individual. Id much rather give my money to them than send it up to Seattle.

Worst service. Theres 2 girls that were just there standing looking at each other. We were there for at least 5 mins. There was only one other customer and they couldnt take our order. When she finally took it she didnt even bother to look at us. Then she couldnt punch in the order in the register. The other girl suggested at least 3 times to process the order in the drive thru register.

I like that this place is big enough for indoor seating, an actually coffeehouse rather than a drive thru, I think its the only location that offers this in all of Oregon! Experience has mostly been good except that one day with the new employee who messed up my order twice. I do appreciate that its not generic like starbucks and love the availability of 4 drink sizes!

Just stopped in to sign some contracts, I had a doctors appointment in a building that shares a parking lot with human bean, the employees acknowledged our presence and were very polite. Even though I did not buy anything this time, I have been there several times and highly recommend them. Much better than Starbucks, which I will NEVER go into.

I am not a coffee person but nothing can go wrong with ice and sugar... coffee taste great and kids love the fruit tasted stuffs... price is fair. This location has Wi-Fi and outlets for you to charge your devices... easy access bathroom and wait time is reasonable even Saturday busy time...take walnut street entrance/exit, make life easier...

Wife got over charged. She went in. Came back out with a large Carmel mocha and a huge smile. Not only did the folks at Bean take care of the error; they were super nice and gave her a free one now and one for the inconvenience for the future. Wow, thats what I call owning your mistakes. Way to go guys! You made the wife happy all day!!

Not sure if some of the girls dont know how to communicate or they are racist but coming in, being stared at and then left to wait without a word is HIGHLY UNPLEASANT! Especially when you just want to drink coffee and relax after a stressful day!

Fantastic service, fantastic selection of drinks, this is the one of the best "drive up" coffee stands I have been to and that extends to their entire chain! Try the "Blackberry Green Tea Smoothie", you wont regret it!

Relaxed, friendly, room to sit and chat if youve got the time. Large menu to choose from for coffee, tea and steamers. Served with a chocolate covered expresso bean placed on the lid of your drink. Nice touch!
