I have lived in this town for a while and this place has gone downhill from what it used to be. Every item on their menu is $12+ besides sides. They charge $4.50 for a side of rice. That is absurd to me. Despite the prices, the amount of food they bring out is minimal of what you expect. I ordered 3 enchiladas, a $13 plate and they came with a scoop of beans and rice, topped with lettuce and tomatoes. The enchiladas were small enough to fit in my hand. The portions were offensively small. They never refilled our drinks. I asked for a refill on the chips and salsa they provide and they charge $3 for a refill. I almost walked out. The food a year ago used to be good and affordable, but they have changed for the worst. It is all mediocre tasting and money hungry. I understand that is a Mexican restaurant and all, but the waitress I knew from the first time I went there 5 years ago still hasnt learned English and did not understand our order. I would never suggest this place to anyone unless you like throwing money away.

We used these guys to cater our wedding on Saturday and they were amazing. They got to the reception location and got to work setting up without anyone there to prompt them, they were polite and easy to speak with. The food was so good, everyone at the reception kept asking us where we ordered from and had nothing but great things to say about it. We went to the actual restaurant before we requested catering and the food was just as good at the restaurant and the customer service was good as well. Very friendly and inviting. I would definitely recommend this place for delicious food for any occasion!

How does a restaurant advertise as serving a vegetarian menu when they use chicken broth to make the rice that is in the dishes? If you want to attract veg customers, you need to start making a separate rice with no chicken broth or else you will earn a very bad reputation for serving meat to non-meat-eaters. Many mexican restaurants in Portland can attest to this. Please stop advertising as vegetarian-friendly unless you are really making vegetarian food.

Over-priced. Want more chips and salsa? Thatll be $2.50. Deliver the wrong entrees, and customers already started on em before they knew, so stuck with them? Write it off for them as free? Nah. Over-priced. Under-flavored. Quantities questionable. I never believe were really "amigos" to them. But many in the rest of our group like the place. Taste. Hard to figure out. Were spoiled by our consistent Depoe Bay Mazatlan experience.

One of our familys favorite places. Macho burrito and a grande margarita on the rocks, both of which I split with my wife. :-). I really like their margaritas! Place your order for burritos and the food is on your table in 5 minutes. I love the deep fried ice cream, but usually skip it unless I can share it with at least two others. Were frequent diners and I always enjoy the greetings we get from the staff and owner.

This is the best Mexican Food in town! Excellent customer service, the food is awesome with very reasonable prices so you can afford to go out with the entire family or a bunch of friends. They have some of the best margaritas and pina coladas I have every had. Very popular spot before, during, and after OSU Beaver football games! I have always had a great time and great food.

We wanted to try another Mexican place that was closed on Sunday, so we tried this place. The food was just OK. We all felt that the food was way too bland and even the extra salsa didnt help it. The flan was tasty but lacked the caramel sauce dripping over the top. If you are a Mexican foodie then please dont waste your time. It does the job of filling a void, but so does oatmeal.

The food and service was outstanding! We were seated right away, the place was inviting and clean. Big smile and pleasant manner. The plates were VERY HOT! The food looked and tasted great. We both just loved the chili Rellenos, so flavorful without the heat or annoying seeds. We are so glad we found the place on Google Maps, I really appreciate that app and use it all the time.

Id say it was ok. THe portions were good but the grub was nothing special. It was it wasnt worth 18 bucks or something I spent, I dont believe but worth trying. Had better Mexican food for less money. Everything else was good about it; seems like itd be a good place to kick it with some drinks with friends, though.

The service here is always ridiculously good. You take a sip of water and they refill it. You take it again and they refill it. They staff is always ridiculously nice, they bring out great hot food and the prices are great.

My wife and I are staying across the street and after we checked in it was either find food or stab someone. We were so lucky Sol de Mexico was here. Open late, no one got stabbed and the food was fantastic
