I would rate at two stars but our group was around 18 and I know that can be a challenge for some kitchens. I would hope they can do better with small groups. Their beer is fine, especially the Peanut Butter Cup Porter. The menu is really limited in the number of options as well as the creativity of the dishes. The quality of the food is mediocre at best. No meats were cooked as ordered (over cooked) and the appearance on the food was that it was under the heat lamp for quite a bit of time. I ordered the Brewco Burger. The pork belly was very overcooked and tough and getting crunchy. The burger was overcooked. And surprise, the Magma sauce is just a spicy sauce that doesnt do much to bring whatever its on together. The dining room is a swirl of weird and sometimes very objectionable smells. Some of which make me think that the drain lines in their bar or floor drains need to be addressed with a redesign or serious cleaning. Im talking about straight up sewer gas wafting around this place. The neighborhood is hopping, the building is big, sprawling and has character, the beer is good. This place is failing hard at being a restaurant. The menu, food and dining experience have the feel of a crappy college sports bar where that patrons dont really exercise discretion. I hope they improve because theyre a staple to that neighborhood.

Atmosphere: Try to park in public parking because its very close. The valet is not necessary. Inside, all of the tables are high tops, which is hard for short people (me!) but there are some combo table/booths which offer a step for us vertically challenged. Appetizers: The poutine was subpar, and it turned the fries mushy. I usually love poutine, and this could have been done much better. I did like the flavor of the pork and gravy. The pretzel appetizer and dipping sauces were incredible! PBCCP caramel sauce for the pretzels is a must-try! I want that in a churro! Mains: I ordered the burger medium but it came out well. The meat was rather tough. The tomato on the burger was supposed to be "marinated," but tasted really sour. The bacon jam was also sour. I ordered a side for my fries because I was expecting it to taste like a thicker version of the bacon sauce at Red Robin, but it did not deliver. The side of fries I received with my burger was crisp on the outside, providing a wonderful "crunch." The house BBQ sauce is yummy--sweet and tangy. Miscellaneous: The service was quick and non-invasive, and the waitress even brought us a decanter of water (I always appreciate this!). The portions are generous, and the rest of my party loved what they ordered. I will try it again.

I have always enjoyed eating at this place in the past, however I dont feel its worth my drive anymore: After parking my car (in front of the restaurant), I was immediately approached by 2 individuals and was required to pay 5 dollars to park my car -- anywhere in the entire parking lot -- regardless of the fact that I was dinning at this restaurant. I think that was absurd. This is NOT downtown Cleveland, and the Willoughby Brewing Company, if they are profiting from this should be ashamed of themselves. I can understand people using this parking lot to dine somewhere else, but at least allow free parking for your paying customers. This is a matter of principle and good business -- not 5 dollars. The second thing that really bothered me, was our waitress, who was wonderful, but did not have enough common sense to give us proper change to leave her a "proper" 20% tip. She gave us change to either leave her a 14% tip, or a 30% tip, which made me feel like this was a ploy, hoping we would just leave her 30%. She lost out. Sorry. The establishment as a whole is good, but its the little things that make a great restaurant.

We went for a beer and dinner after a day driving east-west on the interstates. The atmosphere was charming with the brick building and bistro lighting. We sat inside, and tried four of the beers: Peanut Butter Cup Coffee Porter, Gutterpup Porter, Spring Saison and Railway Razz. First off, the beers were fantastic. You can smell and taste the peanut butter cup, and the saison was well-balanced with an emphasis on the fruit and citrus hops (not bitter or floral). We ordered the smothered fries, fish tacos and pulled pork sandwich, all of which were top notch in both taste and presentation. Our waitress was very considerate, and when we subbed the potato chip side for a pierogi potato salad, she informed us that it might not be to our liking, and if that was the case we could re-sub it. Overall, great find in the suburbs of Cleveland when on the road for a long drive.

Been going here for years. I go every winter when Im home on leave. The past two years the menu has gotten shorter and shorter. Food is still good but the menu is seriously lacking. Its been cut down so much I almost got up and left this last time because there really isnt anything on the short menu that sticks out to me. Food has become very basic. I ordered the stuffed chicken, which was delicious, and the service is still very good. Just disappointed in the menus. I could go to any chain steakhouse and have twice the options, good food, and probably cheaper. I dont mind paying extra for the atmosphere but they are starting to lose it. Not sure Ill be back next year. Again, food and service were good, only three stars because of lack of menu options and atmosphere.

Good food, great beer selection. A bit expensive for the location. Peanut Butter Cup Coffee beer doesnt have much peanut butter taste. Other customers said it had more of a peanut butter flavor 3 years ago. We went with a large party and didnt need to ask for separate checks; the sever knew to couple us up. We kept waiting for the live music to start, which started around 10:10 pm. Seemed to have a 50+ aged crowd filling in for the live music. Plenty of screens with live sports. The parking lot looks like you must valet your vehicle for $5 to enjoy the large parking lot. We drove past the entrance and parked ourselves for free.

I told my server that I had never tried any of their craft beer so he suggested I try the sampler, which is 4oz. of their 8 most popular craft beers. He then walked me through the qualities of each of the beers, all of which were exceptionally good. The servers are all extremely knowledgeable on their craft and will absolutely help you pick what suits your taste most. I had finally settled a pint of Peanut Butter Coffee Porter, and had a BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich to go along with it, which was exceptional also. I will definitely drive an hour to come back here.

Terrible first impression. It starts off with a "Public parking" sign as you approach, which makes no mention of the $3 that they charge for you to park your own car. It continued with the waitress completely forgetting to put in our appetizer (which, to her credit, she credited for us). It continued further with the kitchen forgetting to put cheese on the burger. I wish I could say the beer made up for it, but you expect more from a place with "BREWING COMPANY" in the name. I dont expect a repeat visit.
