Great pizza as usual but we have been here 4 times now. 2 out of the 4 times our order has been wrong. We are ordering off the menu-no changes, just always comes out COMPLETELY wrong. This past Friday was the worst-just two completely wrong pizzas. At least the third was right. Of course it was fixed but still had to wait and was a bit aggravating. Also, we waited awhile to be seated with several open tables (there were only two of us). When us and another party were finally acknowledged after at least 10 minutes, we asked how long the wait was and the young girl said, "I have no idea, god." Um, wow, ok, thanks. I understand the bulk of the revenue is probably from pick-ups, perhaps you should still focus on the walkins, too?

who is running this place? they are lucky their pizza is good, their service is awful. like another reviewer wrote, we waited at least 15 minutes even though there were obviously 3-4 tables open. none of the employees seem to know what their place is. the only good part about the service was actually our waitress, who seemed to be the only one serving people. other employees and what looked to be the owner were just walking around. extremely frustrating as a patron, but we stayed because my husband wanted to try their pizza. i definitely understand why there are only carry-outs. well be doing the same from now on.

I really cant say enough great things about this place. But I can say this: I make a concentrated effort to go here at least once a month. I have told my family and friends to go here....and they do.....usually at least once a month. The pizza is amazing, the salad dressing is spectacular..and the service is second to none. The owner himself comes out to talk to each one of his customers, not just about pizza..but about life in general. If you go there as often as I do, you almost feel like you know the guy.

Consistently good Neapolitan style (flash high heat, thin crust) pizza married with a good beer selection, in part to their proximity to one of Clevelands many micro brews. They have a little game room (air hockey, pinball sorts, no ball pit). The place isnt going to pass a white glove test, but the tables and food related things are clean. If mine falls on the floor, Genghis can have it, but great otherwise!

Good pizza. OK service although the staff wasnt friendly and I didnt see a single smile. I also wasnt happy paying $4.25 for 4 small breadsticks, one of which was a thin hard crisp. Inside looks shabby too, hopefully they will finish the reno they apparently stated. $30 for pizza & breadsticks though, probably wont come back. Friendlier service and better value might bring me back but until then.. Sorry!

The best pizza in all of Cleveland. The owner is very cool, he takes the time to talk with his customers and he is very hands on making sure every pie is cooked to perfection. They have a bar there as well so if you want to grab a couple cold ones and wait for your pizza, no problem. I would highly recommend this to everyone that lives in Cleveland. I love my sweeeeeeeet basils!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent pizza. Very unique for the area. As a lover of Chicago-style pizzas, I could never understand what New Yorkers found so appealing about the thin stuff. But this changed my mind. Great sauce, excellent crust. Only drawback here is dining in. Hour+ wait kind of ruins the experience for us. I will be getting carry-out from now on.

Delicious everytime we visit! This is the closest you can get to true New York style pizza in the Midwest. My fiancé is from Connecticut so we have some NY pizza experience. The ingredients always taste great and fresh. Their house dressing is incredible too! Owner is always around and very friendly and accommodating to special requests.

Pizza was Italian esque and dining area was plenty large but basically a wide open space. Crust was tunnel than most styles and most pizza had Italian spices added. In spots it can overwhelm but mostly is a nice addition. Id recommend for anyone who is looking for pizza a cut above the mainstream.

Sweet Basil rocks! We moved here from New England and have tried pizza places time and time again ending up being disappointed but after finding Sweet Basil....our search was over!! By the far, the best pizza in the area. Great atmosphere, great staff, great owner!!

I used to eat at this place a few years back, and the food was great and nice little pizza place. However we just went to Sweet Basil the other day and walked out, it was so filthy. Tables UN bussed every where and filth on the floor.. Good bye Sweet Basil!

Neopolitan style pizza and it is delicious! One of the only sit-down pizzerias around. They have some really good pizza. If you have never been, I suggest you try it! You will come back! They offer some craft beers as well. Highly Recommend!

Delicious and always fresh! Sweet Basils makes pizza eating seem healthy! The service is always great, they are always attentive and friendly. The homemade house salad dressing is to die for!! Very family friendly, but also has a romantic flare!

They have a wide variety of pizzas and they hand-toss(!) the dough! The kitchen is open to the dining room. The game room offers skee ball, a couple of pinball machines, and five or six video games, including one ride-on game.

This place is great to take your family and have great pizza. The place is very open and has an open kitchen that allows you to see the pizzas being made. It is the perfect place to take out of town guests.

If you like thin crust pizza, there are plenty of great options to try here! Service was just ok on our visit, but we will try it again anyway because the pizza was good!

Does good new york style pizza. Spent years in New York and this comes as close to that style as any I have had around Cleveland. Great treat.

Very good pizza. I would describe it more as New York style than Neapolitan. Very large pizza when ordering the large size!

Great crust but skimpy on toppings. Pizza was rather bland and looked better than it tasted.
