If you dont have a favorite lunch place yet, Uptown Deli and Brew will definitely be it. The menu stays true to the restaurants name and offers a wide selection of sandwiches as well as a few appetizers and soups/salads. Combined with full bar that offers a limited but unique list of beers, its easy to find something you like or try something new altogether. The food tastes garden fresh and every piece is delicious. Even the accompanying pickle is worth every bite. The indie/folk playlist and cozy interior makes it easy to relax here, but the real winner is the sizable outdoor patio which makes you feel like youre on your own back patio. The waitstaff are all friendly and eager to joke around with you too. (FYI make sure you get the bier cheese with your chips. You wont regret it. )

Our family of 5 went here early on a Saturday afternoon. It wasnt busy and there was lots of waitresses walking about but we sat for 10 minutes without being addressed until I asked the bartender if we were in a self-service area (even though we were sat there by the hostess). Service was ok after that. The food was really good as was the beer and this looks to be a great place to hang out with an open air feeling and an exceptionally attractive staff. We came here on a day of exploring our new city and on the recommendation of the TV show Columbus Neighborhoods. While the food and beer was delicious it is on the pricy side so this will be an occasional destination rather than an every-tuesday thing.

The beer is incredible and reasonably priced, the sandwiches are good and not too overpriced, the other menu items seem a little expensive. A sandwich, beer, and salad, as well as a tip would run you about $30, which seems a little high considering many restaurants will offer a reduced price salad or soup with the purchase of an entrée. The price is not bad if you just get a sandwich and beer, but that kind of meal is a little carb heavy. I have always had a good experience with the staff and I enjoy the uptown Westerville location. Im so happy to have this kind of restaurant in my backyard.

Such a fantastic Westerville lunch spot. I ordered the Figaboudit sandwich and thought it was so yummy. The prosciutto, fig jam and goat cheese were phenomenal together. I liked the pub chips that came with it too. It filled me up but didnt feel greasy or heavy. My server was friendly and my food come out quickly. Its a bit pricey for a sandwich but I thought they used quality ingredients in a nice atmosphere so the price felt well worth it. I cant wait to come back again and try the Italian wedding soup and the Frenchy sandwich.

Excellent microbrewery and sandwiches, great service, cool decor. The deli sandwiches are just great, try the Viking Torpedo or the State & Main, nothing comes close in the CBUS area. The house made potato chips are crispy and well seasoned. The house beers are well done, love the Scofflaw Scottish Ale, now served on nitro.

Beers were okay. Wine list and beer list were very minimal. Beautiful patio and open window experience, but inside temperature was 85+ degrees. Charcuterie board was meager, not worth the price. Seems as though they spent more money on the atmosphere than quality product.

My only complaint is the vague hours. Theyll stay open later than what google says if its busy. They easily have one of the best pilsners in the state. Ive also heard their food is great, but cant speak from experience. Staff is very friendly!

Food was meh, decent, and just okay. Beer was lacking flavor. I had the pal ale and scottish red. Both lacked body and flavor. Interested in giving it a second shot but cant convince the person I was with to go back.
