I heard such wonderful things about this place....my only thought is they must have been drunk because the service and food was awful. We waited awhile for food (only 2 other patrons were there and already done eating)...while we waited we enjoyed cold coffee...when are food arrived we enjoyed a make it yourself Ruben and cold fries and a blackened burger which would be more appropriately named a salted Burger luckily it was also accompanied by cold fries. In addition the condiments on the table were empty and we had to borrow from another table since the server never came back. We did receive refills on our drinks and also got to enjoy the smell of our servers arm pit as she stretched across our food and table to pour it rather than ask for the glass....our lunch ended with being over charged and being informed the Manager had left for the day...our server is lucky we wanted to leave as quickly as we did because thats the only reason she received a tip...so disgusted with the service and food we didnt want to wait for change.

Eaten here many times before, was adequate, some things actually very good. This time - they had an issue with their water (construction?), and the tea, pop, water all had a funky taste (they should be embarrassed to charge for it - tried several - all tasted bad). The food is decent, but the service (again) was lackluster... Sat at the bar and still waited over 10 min for ANYTHING to drink and the bill. Last visit. Appearently (seen this before), if you are not a regular and involved in conversations with the mgr and waitstaff - you just dont get any service. Just not part of the clic. Lastly, the restrooms are actually in the atrium of the adjoining mall area - quite a ways. There are far too many other options elsewhere, therefore thumbs down, IMHO.

I had been in a few times before. The food and service were average, nothing to complain about, but didnt blow me away. Stopped in for a few drinks and some food. After going around and around with the "bartender" trying to find out what kind of beer they have I find out she "isnt actually a bartender"--it was Friday at happy hour. Then it took about fifteen minutes to get a bottled beer. I should have known better when trying to order a bourbon later. When my boneless wings came out they were way overcooked and had so much dry rub on them I nearly choked. I paid with out finishing and drove down the road to Brubakers Pub. Id rather support a business like Menches, but three strikes in one visit? Im just done at that point. I saw no need to even complain.

My family and I went to Menches Brothers Restaurant twice. The first time we went for dinner. We all ordered different burgers. When the food came, the burgers were pretty good. I ordered the Western Burger, with bacon and barbeque sauce. It was a good burger. The second time, we went for breakfast. I ordered the breakfast pizza. It tasted cheap. Not very much or very good sausage, eggs were runny, etc. My sister ordered a breakfast sandwich, and got one, small, thin, almost flavorless sausage on the whole sandwich. I would recommend Menches Brothers if you are looking for a good burger, but if you want breakfast, I would recommend that you go somewhere else.

The food was great but the service was so disappointing. No one cleared our table if our plates, our ketchup bottle was empty. I grabbed another bottle from another table and it was empty. I eventually got a full bottle from the server. A couple sat next to us. I was shocked that they were seated to a dirty table when there was a full room of empty ones. They also had the same ketchup problem. I gave them ours. It was our first time there and most likely our last. Very lazy service.

50 tasty burgers to choose from - but I always get the #7 (western burger with bacon, cheddar, and sweet baby rays), delicious. The fries are good as are their new homemade potato chips. Fast and friendly service. Timely with drink refills. Clean. No complaints. I usually avoid going with a group on Wed. as thats $3 off burger platter day and they can get busy. But if its just me or just one other person and we have a little extra time, its quite a deal.

Delicious burgers! Love their King James burger with a pretzel bun. Service is always good, helpful, and friendly. If I had one complaint, Id say that the onion rings are way too expensive. For $3, I expected a pretty big side of onion rings. All I got was 6 or 7 small ones. Id recommend sticking with the fries.

The burger patties taste like frozen patties you can buy at the store. The veggie burgers are just Morning Star or something similar. For a place that supposedly "invented" the hamburger, I was hoping for a bigger, juicier handmade burger. The food is okay, but for the price, Id rather get burgers elsewhere.

Very good burgers, but this particular visit was odd because there was a wait at 2:30 in the afternoon to be seated even though there were plenty of open tables. There is typically no wait when going at off times. Service was friendly, but extremely slow. It seems that they were very shorthanded that day.

It was alright, I personally like their sister restaurant in Massillon better and they dont have the large desert selection like the other, either. Service was good. Our server wasnt all that friendly but she was on top of keeping our drinks filled and getting our food out so that works for me.

Theres a sign out front that says they invented the hamburger. I dont know if thats true but they do a good job making them. Fifty burgers on the menu make it hard to choose but I settled on the perogi burger with bacon, cheese and mashed potatoes. Very tasty.

Got stuck eatting here as part of a work function. It was picked by the coworker that talks about "meat sweats". Look elsewhere if you care at all about a range of healthy options past fried food accompanied by a slab of ground meat.

Great burger place. Over 50 different burgers, all tasty. Sometimes they are on the small size for the price, but i can eat a lot. Sitting at the bar can get cold if the door is opened a lot. Nice place for a beer and burger.

Absolutely fantastic burger place! There are 50 different burgers to choose from, in addition to customizations, and anything can be substituted for a vegetarian burger! Nice atmosphere, a good place to eat out for dinner.

I have been once on the discounted burger night. My perogie burger was very different and was good. I would only go back for the specials since I felt the quality was good, not excellent. But I would definitely go back.

I will never go to Menches Brothers again. The wait staff are rude and mocking. I was having a particularly bad day and they perpetuated the situation by adding to the issue. Trust me...find some place else to go.

Menches is a great place to enjoy an excellent burger. I liked the texture and taste of the bun. It was soft on the out side with a little crunch on the inside. Staff was very friendly and took good care of us.
