First and last time customers, the lady that took my order was incredibly rude I was only able to order 1 meal cause apparently I was cutting into whatever she was doing prior to me calling. The guy at the counter when we pick our food up was very very very nice. The food on the other hand was the worst Ive ever tasted, the fried rice had no tatse other than startch and the Bourbon chicken tasted like boiled chicken it had no sauce on it I could have thrown some minute rice in the microwave thawed out a couple chicken thighs put them in some boiling water and had the same meal. It went in the trash after 2 bites.

Great local place, very good prices. Ive picked up lunch here about once a week for the past 5 years. The owner is very nice and the food is always good and quick. Not sure what the other reviewer, Cory, ordered but I usually get chicken-based meals and havent ever had a problem. You can take his one-time visit as a review, or someone who has been there over 200 times - its your choice. Im literally going there right now to pick up my order.

MOST EXPENSIVE WORST CHINESSE FOOD IVE EVER HAD. Fried rice was nothing more than old white rice w a splash of soy sauce and nothing else general tso chicken was frozen clumps of whatever was left from the chicken the only thing that was any good was the white rice and it wasnt great by any means nothing they served remotely resembled any chinesse food Ive ever eaten this place is terrible and over priced

Worst chinese food within 20 miles. The beef was chewy and fatty. The chicken was covered in greasy sauce, the fried rice was bland. Charged me an arm and a leg and I couldnt even finish 1/2 of the meal because it was so bad. Dont come here; save yourself.

I really like this restaurant. I think that they use cheaper cuts of beef on their beef menu items, that may be the other reviewers rant. But the rest of their menu is delicious. I dont often order beef because I didnt care for it from this place.

We take out from here regularly - it is our go-to Chinese restaurant in the Tallmadge area. It is well priced and generally good. I would recommend staying away from the beef, which tends to be chewy, but the chicken dishes are reliably good.

This is the best Chinese place around. Excellent, friendly service and awesome food. No matter what you order it is done in 10 minutes and they never up your order. The food is super cheap and extremely tasty. I highly recommend this place!

Ive gone here for lunch at least once a week for about 10 years. Excellent prices, great food and very polite owner. If you like Chinese take-out food, you owe it to yourself to try them at least once.

Always my favorite take out restaurant. All Chinese food is not created equal and Golden Place is by far the best in the area. Fair prices for generous portions and the owner and staff are excellent.
