I went to Golden Corral in Springfield, Ohio on Sunday 3/26/2017 with a small group from Church with an out of town Minister, it was around 2:30. I asked about a Senior discount and the girls just looked at me didnt say a word. Meat bins were not filled. the Roast beef and potatoes there was no meat in it. When we ask for a piece of the meat that they cut for you it was so thin and so little, you wonder why bother, our waiteress was very good, she was on top of things, the only thing good about this vist. for a meal that cost me 15.00 without a drink, We left her a good tip. I have gone to golden corral several time usually on a Sunday, but it will be a long time before I every go to Golden Corral again, what I did ate was good, but for what I eat 15.00 with out a drink and bins being almost emety is too much, this was the worst visit, as someone told me for $15.00 - $18.00 I will go and have a Steak dinner.

Golden Corral is definitely on the way down. Food used to be hot and fresh, Today we were there about 5:45pm. Veggies were either under cooked, carrots were like rocks or over cooked, corn actually just dissolved when eaten. Everything was gross. Lettuce was extremely watery, cobb salad was soured, butter had so much food slopped into it, it tasted like french dressing. Steaks were all well done no matter how they were ordered. And, lets see there was chicken, chicken and more chicken,,,,4 kinds of wings, roasted chicken, fried chicken, bourbon chicken.......bad bourbon chicken...what happened to baked white fish (now they serve bone-in catfish), liver & onions, shrimp (now a disgusting crab cake thing)? Soft serve ice cream tasted like water, cakes seem to be frozen boxed cakes. Used to enjoy gathering here but now, will never return.

Every time i have been to this location on three seperate occasions. the food has been terrible me and my wife have gotten sick either vomiting or severe dairrhea. just earlier tonight the roast left a terrible taste in my mouth my wife has already gotten sick the desert was old. So old that the pudding had a film over the top and the whip cream was hard not to mention it wasnt even mixed properly. For dinner the steak also terrible was not even a prime cut and had no steaks prepared. Half of the bins either were empty or u could just tell no one has messed with it. None of the food was prepared in a proffesional manner. No flavor the gravy also had a film. I was so ticked off that i didnt even leave a tip not to mention i wouldnt even give a star

Poor service. Waiting forever just for an ice water. This place doesnt even care. Just herding people to the trough and getting that money. The food has gotten a tad better. The rolls are still good. But the buffet is not well maintained. Too many like type foods, ex. They got chicken everything. My other complaint is the salt content on their prepared foods is too much for me to handle without a few glasses of water to wash it down. Typical buffet. But the service level really has diminished. Not sure if they are given too many tables or lazy. I just know my waitress could care less.

Ive been to MANY GCs, and this one was probably the dirtiest Ive seen. Maybe it was just the hour we arrived, but the Buffet was picked over, what was left was dried and crusted over from the heat lamps and food was all along the buffet trays falling into each other. Since we had already paid and it was getting late, we ended up just picking from the limited selections. More people were still coming in, but nothing was ever refilled. They were still charging full price while items were being pulled off for the night! This location definately needs some work. Hit or Miss on this one.

Parking lot was exceptionally clean except the parking lines needed to be repainted but thats a minor factor. As we walked in you could smell the cleanliness of the tables and utensils. The staff nicely moved the tables for our family of 13 teenagers and adults. We all drank dozens of cups of Mtn. Dew which was generously supplied. We adventured over to the buffet and almost put them out of business by how much food we ate. Then we sang to our waitress because we appreciated the quality of the staff and the service we received. 10/10 would eat and sing again.

Husband and I will no longer visit this location! We go to off 71&beechwood. Its great ,way more choices and always gooood. Spfld. Is not. They never clean tops of napkin holders,slow at refills,stinky restrooms music is always to loud and only plays country, .managers clothes look dirty. Most importantly foods never hot enough, brocc.,cabbage,carrots are hard too.

About all I can say is the dr. Pepper was good I had to rate it one star because I couldnt get a half a star in the picture I think all the stakes were rare as could be they was crying one of the Ryan stuck my fork and I never thought Id have this type of experience never had before guess it was an off night

If you like good food do not go here, when it first opened it was great, Now it has been going down hill, the food has a lot left to be desired, The staff is, lazy, Had to refill my own drink, who knows where waitress was, but she wasent serving customers. I do not believe it will be open much longer.

The wait staff is excellent. During the day the food isnt bad. It appears that the night time kitchen staff or management doesnt care. Food is either cold or has been cooked to long or not long enough. Very inconsistent with their cooking.

Ample variety of food, very flavorful. Well maintained serving areas, all foods utilized were properly presented as to temperature and ample supply. If you cant find something here to please you taste buds you could be way too picky.

The food on the bar was out of date and yet the staff seemed to care less when notified. I was there for a 1hr and 45 min visit with family and the entire time there was only once slice of pizza and the sliders were solid as bricks.

All-you-can-eat buffet. They used to be kind of bad, but it seems like the food has improved quite a bit the last few times Ive been there. They often keep the temperature of the building way too cold though.

Food was not good only thing that always is good all the salads and rolls, desserts were gross, actual buffet was not kept stocked with the Sunday crowd. Very disappointing and WAY too much for quality!

Tonight was horrible....all the steak seemed to be rare even when u ask for medium well :/ got roast an the potatoes an carrots wasnt done....son requested to not come back an thats rare from him.
