COCKROACHES AND TERRIBLE SERVICE!! I would give this place ZERO stars!!My family and I literally just left this restaurant and had one of the most terrible dining and social experiences thus far. Not fifteen minutes after our arrival one of our family members spotted a cockroach next to the grill items area. He notified a female employee standing behind him.. She immediately smashed the bug with the palm of her hand and raked it off the counter and down onto the floor. The only words she spoke was " oh sorry, sorry." She then thankfully did go wash her hands. After that we watched her notify what we can only assume to be the manager on duty.. the rest of our experience was met with all of the working employees grouping together, talking and staring in our direction on and off. Our family did continue to eat there but were sqeemish about any items located near or around the area the cockroach was found and killed. The waitress we had rarely refilled our drinks, attended to our table, or interacted with us like any other of the customers tables.. they made us feel as though we were the ones who had done something wrong and very uncomfortable. Near the end of our meal we were brought our bill which they had knocked $3.30 off of. I rolled my eyes and scoffed to myself but nonetheless continued to finish my last few bites, only wanting to pay and probably at that point never return. Before I could do so, the female attending the cash register and whom portrayed herself as the manager on duty came up to the table and made comments to me about their policy for waste of food and made it clear that she felt I had indeed wasted their food. I looked the table over, and since our waitress never once cleared any of our finished plates, saw there was only one plate that had been left untouched. This must have been what she was referring to.. this plate was made at the time the cockroach incident occurred. No, I did not care to touch it, and at the time did not want to even stay or eat at all. Yes, I did after some convincing from my family decide to stay and ate a few things after the fact. Regardless, I didnt think that I deserved the negative attention over the one uneaten plate and was actually eating as she came over and made the huge scene with me about waste. After she walked away from the table I immediately went to my husband with our bill and told him what she had just done and said, he addressed her at the register and all she could do or say was start yelling at the top of her lungs "are you threatening me?!" She was trying to cause another scene and make it as though my husband, my family, and myself were somehow threatening her!! At this point I was way beyond done with this whole place, but my husband prepared to pay the bill anyway, decided he would get his moneys worth and eat ice cream before leaving.. the very same woman walked up to my husband in front of everyone and snatched the food right out of his hands and once again started yelling this time she told is to "just leave, leave now or I call the cops!!" With my family in absolute horror and disbelief we left without paying a dime! Needless to say my none of my family or friends will ever receive our business again.. and neither should anyone else, especially those reading this review!! My husband and I will definitely be contacting several people in the morning concerning this place and the events that occurred!

Overall the food was very good although most of the breaded meat in generals chicken, sweet & sour chicken etc was all breading no meat. The price was about average for the area. Where is place ultimately fails bigtime is the general demeanor and service. The staff is rude and seem to try to rush us out. They also seemed recent refills and tried to get you to pay at the table assuming you will give them your change. I wont be back

Stopped serving snow crab on Thursdays. Food quality continues to get worse. Poor service, management shows no concern for customer’s wants or needs. I have eaten at this restaurant since it first opened, years ago, but the selection and quality of the items offered on the buffet continues to degrade. I dont recommend this restaurant any more.

Love eating here! We live in Frankfort but are originally from Harlan. We stop almost every time we visit Harlan. We have tried numerous Chinese buffets in and around Frankfort and none of them are as good as this one.

King Buffett is the only way for Chinese Cuisine. My absolute favorite because they remember you when you come back. Great to get a box to go, I always eat twice with one container, for around 10 bucks.

I love the warm crab salad stuff (I have no idea what its actually called). Anyway, its my favorite. The servers are always friendly. It always seems to be clean. Price is decent.
