I grew up in the Southwest, and find it rare to find a restaurant that has "authentic" Mexican food. This place has great atmosphere, great drinks (we had margaritas & beer), and decent chips & homemade salsa. The main courses leave something to be desired. They cater to the blander Midwestern palate. The preparation, sauces and meats are "playing it safe", and also lack the spices (not hot ones), that are specifically indigenous to the Southwest and Mexican areas. The ingredients that are fairly universal, such as garlic and red peppers are used so sparingly, (or are just food-service grade), that they are barely detectable. There are some good-great places North of Akron, and Ive just begun my search in this area. This is some of the worst Mexican food Ive had here. If you like El Meson, then youll love this place, except youll pay almost double. The Mexican fare at TGIFridays has more flavor.

This is a poorly run establishment. We made a reservation an hour and a half in advance arrived to total chaos. Three different people trying run the host stand. We were told a table was set aside but needed to be cleaned. The girl cleaned it and came to get us just as another staff member gave our table to an incomplete party. We were told we could wait another half hour. There were frustrated patrons at tables waiting for food and checks. We walked out wit three hungry kids. I have no idea what was going on at this restaurant but we will not be back.

Worst Mexican restaurant!! We waited for 10 minutes to be seated. There was just only 4 customers when we were there (no reason to waited for so long to be seated ). Took for ever for our drinks and food for us (also for my kids). My boyfriend had a terrible experience with his drink. He found pieces of glass on his strawberry Margarita. Our last waiter was really good (Sean) . Seems to be the only one who likes to work.

Great hidden gem in Richmond Heights on the border of Lyndhurst, been in business close to 50 years I believe, that right there should tell you something, not your typical cookie cutter suburban Mexican restaurant. Excellent menu with something for everyone & great margaritas. Update: still 5 stars, not sure why anyone is rating this lower. Wise up, you dont have better Mexican here in the Eastside side

I stopped in while I was waiting for tires to be installed on my car. Im so glad I did. Their Golden Margaritas are by far the best Ive had since I up from Florida. The Chicken Mole is excellent! I was also impressed with their salsa.....nice and thick with just enough tang to keep you wanting more. The staff is also very friendly. Ill definitely be going back again and again.

Best chips in town, hands down. Salsa is right at the top of the list too. Sorry to say this as I know this place has a rich history and Ive gone here from time to time over the years, but the food is otherwise not very good at all. There are many better options nearby. Try Don Ramon in Lyndhurst.

Food was good and the salad was great but the price is extremly high for this type of food. They charge 1.00 per burrito for cheese!!! Chips were hard but the salsa was good. Was hard to get your drink glass refilled even having it sit on the end of the table empty. Really not worth the price.

Worst food ever. The chicken was old, bland and I could barely chew through it. The beans are from and can.. the rice was so over cooked it was mushed together. I ate less then half of what I ordered and hours later I was SICK. Vomiting. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. So awful.

Stopped in for lunch. Not very authentic, which was my expectation. Tacos were okay. Flour tortillas were a disappointment. Tamale was very bready and dry. Nothing special. Beans typical for any cheap americanized mexican restaurant. Overall disappointment but Ive had worse.

The waitress was really nice, but the food was bland no season. The rice was terrible. The only thing that was fresh was the salad. Also the restaurant was filthy. Cobb webs, ceiling fans had so much dust build up on them. They really need to spring clean that joint.

The food is very expensive and rather bland. I was not impressed. They do have a great selection of Mexican beers, which was fun. Also, the service was good. I think I would go back of the good were better or less expensive. As is, I doubt Ill be back.

Great service, great food and drinks. Well be back, thats for sure. Went back and left shortly after sitting at the bar due to one of the most rudest bartenders I have encountered. First time I considered hitting a woman. And he was a man.

After not being able to get seated, after being told "we were next in line" and then passed over several times by the hostess, we left- So, yeah, Id say the service was poor- And not fair- However, the food smelled good-

The fact that Wendys is a 4.4 and Fiesta is a 3.6 on Google ratings leads me not to trust these rating systems. If you dont like Fiesta you dont like good food.

I visited this restaurant in Jan. 2016. Very good food and service. Good atmosphere. The sangria drink I had was o.k. Parking is a bit limited.

The chips were a bit too thick for my taste, but otherwise it was a nicely-priced, nicely-portioned lunch. Staff was courteous and responsive.

Got a side salad with our dinners. It was obvious the dressing was made in house and the cheese also freshly shredded in house.
