I had never been to Put-In-Bay until 10/14/16. Most restaurants were closed, but Mossbacks was open. It seemed that all the customers knew each other and were possibly residents. When we walked in, we were given the old up and down look-over by just about everyone. We are both over 50 and dressed nicely. We were rudely told to just "sit wherever" and the waitress would be with us. She finally came over to get our drink order and never came back. We finally left without being served. I have dined at restaurants around the world and NEVER been treated so badly or made to feel so uncomfortable. We will NEVER go back.

Came to Mossbacks while in town for a bachelor party with a large group of guys and they were able to accommodate our group. I picked Mossbacks because I dont live in Ohio anymore and I really wanted to eat food from back home. I went with the perch and pierogies and was very happy! Both were cooked perfectly and hit the spot for back home cooking! The service was very good, especially considering we had such a large group. I would recommend Mossbacks and would return the next time I am in Put In Bay.

Cute, classic little place that definitely embodies the charm of Put In Bay. I would say that the food and service are good, and we didnt have to wait on a table during a fairly busy time of day. Some of the menu items felt a little pricey for what they were.

Came for breakfast, had terrible service, took 45 minutes to get our food, and the toast was barely toasted and some of the food was cold. We wont be coming back here again.

Very nice bar and grille! Food was fantastic. We ordered salad and perch sandwich. Amazing! Beer is awesome and staff was very kind. A definite hit for here!

Food was really good at a reasonable price. If it wasnt for an operational issue where they lost our food ticket for 20 minutes, I would give them a 5 star.
