It's a locals thing. No silver ware, it's served on a paper plate. One napkin ( it's very greasy). No sweetener for drinks. It's just a bar that provides minimal service. I've been there three times. It only come with cheese, pickles, and onions. And there's no parking. And take cash they don't take debit cards. If I had grown up around there I would probably like it. I just can't get over the lack of everything.

I was asked to "move along" because the dinner crowd is coming in, though I had finished my meal, but was waiting for my ride, I finished waiting for my ride in the cold 9° weather, they couldve offered me a spot at the bar but they didnt I found this experience unpleasant especially for being transgender this really rubbed me that wrong way. I would suggest finding a better burger for a better price in a better place with nicer people.

OK, so there is some institutional bias in this review. Quatmans has been a classic burger establishment as long as my native Norwood friends can remember (1966 says their website). The standard burger is their flagship dish, and it does not disappoint. Pair that with a healthy dose of friendly, casual atmosphere and youve got yourself a fantastic work-day lunch outing.

My whole family loves Quatman. The prices are not very high, the service is quick and friendly, and the food is great! I agree with all the hype about the burgers, they are awesome, but if you go more than once, try the ROAST BEEF SANDWICH, and get it HOT. They give you about half a pound of roast beef on bread, fries, and a can of pop for a great price!

burgers are ok.... nothing to rave about. we asked for a menu and she said "the menu is on the wall"... oh ok... well get up and walk to the other side of the restaurant to see your menu... or you could spend $50 and laminate paper for your customers. the remodel is boring. was expecting more I guess. food is cheap and decent. service is ok.

I have been going to quatmans ever since I was a kid. Never have they changed I love it. If your looking for a fancy restaurant this isnt the place for you! Why pay 40 to 50 bucks a plate? To impress someone? Impress someone by taking them to that little hole in the wall where everyone knows everyone, a place that makes you feel at home.

I heard about this joint for years.....then I found out that most people have no clue what a real burger is. This place makes me feel like I am in the old days and leaving the factory for a bite to eat....I head to Quatmans because I am a factory idiot. These burgers are a joke. This place sucks.

Quatman has been around since 1966 and is a great little place to get a standard cheeseburger just like your mom used to make. Thursday, Saturday and Sunday are cheeseburger special days which include fries and a drink for a single price. Avoid lunch time when there is standing room only.

This establishment is the restaurant version of a Trump voter. Low class and blindly supportive of mediocrity. But seriously, bland tasteless food. Not sure why people are giving this dump five stars. Come enjoy your pbr, dry burger, and countless identical looking old white men.

If you are upset about the lack of a menu go to any of the big chains that dot our landscape, Quatman is not for you. If you want one of the best burgers in Cincinnati, one that you cant get anywhere else, go to Quatman! Who needs a menu to order a cheeseburger anyway?

The Quatman Cafe is a very good local eatery. Simple menu, and local beer on tap. The cheeseburger is not fancy, no special sauces or fancy cheeses, just a good old fashioned, hand pressed burger. Definitely worth the trip. They have a take out menu as well.

Totally awesome place - perhaps the best burgers in Cincinnati. No, it is not fancy, and maybe paper plates may not be for everyone (might explain some of the negative reviews), but easily one of the best burgers around, and great fries too.

Its hard for me to understand why so many people rave about about this place. Burger was thin, bland and tasted of old grease. The fries were uneventful and the ambiance was that of a pub that once had ambiance. Typical Cincinnati hype.

If you love simple ands delicious, Quatmans is the place to go! Great cheeseburgers, different specials every day of the week. Note that drinks are not fountain, they are in cans. Great place for lunch during work, but go early.

A classic Norwood burger joint. Not pretentious or stuffy, Quatmans is a fun family oriented establishment. I would recommend it when you want to watch a Reds or Bengals game while enjoying a great juicy burger.

You have to try the Monday and Thursday special! Delicious burger and fries for $8. FYI, it is packed on Thursday, but Monday seems to be less busy. Moving back to Indiana and will miss this place!

The beauty of their burger is the simplicity. Its just a damn good ol burger. No frills or hipster ambiance. Just a good burger. We typically go on nice days when we can enjoy the patio.

Quatmans keeps things simple and straightforward. Want flare and flash? Head somewhere else. Want local people serving local favorites for an affordable price? Quatmans is your place.

Eh...Nothing to write home about. Burgers typically come out overcooked and its not the highest quality meat. Not bad...but not great. Try Wildflower Cafe in Mason instead

Wish I could give it 5 more stars. I have read the bad comments and they are simple slander. The burgers are huge and ALWAYS come with lettuce pickel, onion and tomato.

My wife took me here because of the great burgers she remembered from her visit 6 years before. The daily special was excellent and the staff was quick and friendly.

Fantastic burgers but slow service. You have to awkwardly wait up from to pay your check. If there are more than a couple people in line, it gets crowded.

An unassuming diner serving excellent food--especially burgers--that you should go out of your way to come back to. Friendly service in a fun atmosphere.

The reality is that these are very simple burgers. By no means are these gourmet or close to the best burger around. Its a good value, though.

Greasy & tasteless with no toppings -- couldnt even get lettuce & tomato -- *this* is a great burger Cincinnati style? What "atmosphere"?
