One of two authentic puertorrican cuisine restaurants in Lorain. The other being Mi Casa Sabor Latino ( more pricey, but worth it). El kefon has the typical foods puertorricans eat; rice, beans, a type of meat (stewed meat, fish, pork), and fried foods like alcapurrias (yuca/plantain), stuffed potato balls, and of course pastelillos. I recommend the frituras

I got the 10 dollar rice, beans and pork plate to go. Seemed like the girl serving tried to fill the to-go box as full as she could. I went shortly after they opened and everything was fresh and hot. The pork was tender and the food was delicious. I ate so much that I went home and took a 4 hour food nap...It was a great Saturday! I will return to El Kefon.

Ive never eaten Puerta Rican food before. It was amazing! This is Lorains best kept secret. The beef, pork and chicken, yellow rice was so freakin awesome! Will be a regular here for sure!
