Friday nite I had the AYCE Fish Fry great w/ perfect cole slaw, choice of potato (I had baked) and a hush puppy, at $8.95 it was quite the bargain (I had 6 pieces of fish). My wife had the homemade Lasagna with a great big salad and garlic bread it was $8.95 as well, then we split a huge strawberry shortcake that had a homemade bisquit in it and ice cream, very tasty. So if you travel in Ashtabula County stop in for Great Food and Huge portions. The decor is straight out of the fifties, and the service is top notch.

Lucked into All You Can Eat Chicken and biscuits. Absolutely delicious - just like grandma used to make. Dinner for 4 - All You Can Eat Meals AND homemade pies to take home for less than $40! Our service was outstanding and the restaurant was very clean. Thursday is All You Can Eat spaghetti and Friday is All You Can Eat Fish. Im not sure which sounds the best! Go for dinner (or any other meal) - Im positive you wont regret it!!

The food is fine, the service exceptionally friendly and the atmosphere one that suggests that no business is conducted in Jefferson, Ohio, until a quorum is called at the Jefferson Diner.. Strictly Jefferson but nobodys a stranger for long. A way-above-average small-town diner where the second biggest special is pride...

Friendly staff, although it appeared they were understaffed during our visit. Nice atmosphere. The food specials a pretty good, however they made the eggs over hard when I asked for over medium, and burnt the bacon to a crisp. Im afraid my overall experience wasnt as good as I consistently get from Mugs down the street.

So glad we found this diner! The service was great and the atmosphere was rustic and retro (and very clean!). The food was amazing. It wasnt so greasy or salty... Just perfect! The French toast was great as were the hash browns. I cant wait to come back next time were driving nearby! Thanks for a great breakfast!

We were just passing through town and decided to grab a bite. This diner is one of the best Ive ever been in. Good food, cozy, friendly atmosphere. Next time Im in Ohio I plan to stop in again.
