I used to LOVE Bolts before my last visit. Yesterday, 6/4/15, I ordered 20 Medium chicken wings and two pizzas: Deluxe and cheese. The cheese pizza was half off, and who doesnt love half off? I arrived, excited to get the food that I know and love. I ask for my take out order, only to receive two deluxes instead of one of each. I ask for my cheese pizza and wait twenty minutes, because a very kind lady told me it would be twenty. I was very patient until a man came out from the kitchen, telling me twenty minutes, like the waitress did. I agreed and told him that I would wait. He then asked, in a rude tone, "Cant you just pick off the toppings? Itll be a cheese then." I was appalled and simply offended. The place that I have loved for decades treats me, a loyal customer like this? This was not only laziness to the first degree, but absolutely NOT a way to serve. I asked for my money back, and the man rapidly declined, saying that he would make it. He never did. I came home with two deluxe pizzas, underdone and cheaply made, like it came out of the frozen pizza aisle in a grocery store, chicken wings as well as a shocked attitude. Bolts, you have lost my respect, as well as my business for every gathering, Super Bowl, etc.

Have been a dayton resident my entire life.. bolts USED to be the place to go! Not only because my father knew the owner jack but because service and food were great... but tonight was the last time Ill ever step foot in bolts again... service was terrible! 7 tables had customers the rest were empty but still had food and trash and the 2 waitresses were overwhelmed not to mention 2 tables were waited on before us though they came in long after my family and i! 10.99 large chicken chunks ended up 9 chunks smaller than McDonalds nuggets. M6 wifes lazagna (Thurs night $9.95 "special") was not only cold but the size of a pack of cigarettes! Worst restaurant in dayton!

My husband and myself decided to stop to get something good to eat while out Christmas shopping.. I ordered prime rib and he ordered half slab of ribs, we were the only patrons eating at the restaurant on a Saturday evening with the exception of a company Christmas party in the rear section. The prime rib was a generous cut of COLD fat smothered with chilled adjus. My husbands ribs the same COLD. And both baked potatoes were colder than the butter which would not melt on , Hey Manager, where were you? Your waiter got a great tip regardless. Its Christmas. Another tip might be to sell the place to someone that cares.

Tonight was one of the worse nights for service, but the kitchen totally blew it tonight. Long wait for a drink, dirty wine glasses , plates for appetizers greasy and dirty. Had to send them back. Chips for the artichoke dip was crumbs and obviously bottom of the bag. Plates for entrees were dirty also, and greasy. French onion soup was sour, nasty. Not sure whats going on right now, but used to love to come here, but will go somewhere else. Obviously the kitchen staff/dishwasher needs training, and where was the manager???. OMG, make improvements soon, or you you will be another closed restaurant

They had a message that kids meals are free. I asked her when the bill was brought out why were we charged for it. She said that was for last month. But you should still honor it since you have it up. It was not the $4.50 I cared about it was the point. I told her this was a hell of a way to treat a veterans family like that. She didnt care she was just being a pain in the ass. This was on April 5th at around 5:30 pm. I am passing this around on Facebook to anyone and everyone. Hope you enjoy the business you will lose over $4.50. I will do everything I can do to get this out.

Worst service ive ever experienced! 20 minutes after we placed our order our waitress came to tell us they were out of something so we changed our order then another 30 minutes go by and she comes back to tell us they are out of something else so we changed our order again; sat there for over an hour and a half still no food! There were only 3 tables there before us all with food and 4 tables got there after us, ate there food and left while we sit with nothing!

Have not been to bolts in years due to my last experience. Been hearing good things lately thought Id give the a try again. Bad idea. Had to ask for a table to be cleaned so we could sit at a booth with a light. My wifes burger was raw, my burger was barely cooked enough to be edible. My wings were barely cooked as well. They were not busy, only 13 people in the place including us. Only up side, Our waiter seemed like a nice kid and tried to make things right.

My service used to be great, now its just okay - I go every Tuesday night for trivia ONLY because I like the trivia guy. I try not to eat there anymore. Dont get anything with "fresh" produce - eat only cooked or fried stuff. The tables are always sticky, and unless youre drinking alcohol, no one will check with you to see if you need a refill.

When I pointed out that I love tomatoes but these tomatoes on my salad were bad (How as in spoiled..not fresh) the waitress returned to tell me the chef through the rest away in the kitchen. No compensation for my bad salad. Perhaps I wasnt grouchy enough...but is that necessary to treat a patron appropriately? Ill never go back.

The servers are awesome! Sometimes they are short ,but get the food to you as quick as possible. Amber is a great bartender and cares for her customers ,and Taylor the server is great at satisfying the customer! I never been to a place where my food came in less than 5 minutes! Beer is great!

The worst wings and wing sauce on the face of the earth. Theyre parmesan garlic should taste like Parmesan garlic not level 5 hot sauce. Ranch dipping sauce tasted like water. The only thing good was the Pepsi that I had and the baseball highlights....

The following items are very good at Bolts: Lasagna; Onion Rings; Naked Wings with Hot Sauce; Cold Beer; Baby Back Ribs; Chicken Chunks with BBQ Sauce. They just had a pig roast and a clam bake and both those meals were excellent.

Went here for food once and only once. Half my wings were over cooked half were under cooked..... Didnt even know that was possible. If they closed the kitchen and just ran as a bar they may be alright.
