I walked in and was instantly reminded that cigarettes used to be allowed in restraunts. Such a smell from my childhood instantly brought back memories if playing with ash trays at my local bowling alley, just across the street. I was pleased to see the wood paneling on the bar and walls, and even more excited to see the old pinball machine and pacman game sitting in the corner. We were sat in a section with music playing that just loud enough to mildy drown out your own thoughts, yet quiet enough to struggle with conversation. I was also excited to see that the menus were composed of 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper that appeared to have been shot out of an HP office jet just months prior. Needless to say, I was hoping the food was as good as the looks of the place. I ordered the classic Cold beer and cheeseburgers burger, hoping to taste the history that made this venue such a great establishment. When my burger arrived on the table, I immediately wished it was inside me. However, it was lacking ketchup. So I grabbed the bottle on the table and saw that it was "house blend", and I was surprised to see that this restraunt produced their own condiments. I then took my first bite of this glorious 1/2 pound of meat and grease. Immediately grease spewed out like fat out of a pair of tight jeans. I was pleased yet again. I then had a French fry, crinkle cut freshly in the back, I had no doubt. It was everything I had ever wanted. I finished my meal quickly and instantly regretted my decision. I was instantly brought back to 4 minutes prior when I took my first bite, and wished that I had savored the moment just a little bit more. I almost shed a tear thinking of how beautiful the moment just was. The worn wood paneling, Hank Williams blasting through the old speakers, the depressed regulars sitting at the bar, this heart attack sitting in front of me. What a sight it was. 10/10 would go again.

Nauseating experience and unhealthy, really badly prepared food. Three of us visited on a quiet Friday evening in April about 8 PM. The Cold Beer menu was butchered with a bunch of red magic marker Xs through most of the food items. The waitress took forever to answer when I asked what she liked to eat there - BIG danger sign. Two of us ordered fish and chips and one had chicken fingers. The cole slaw they brought out was room temperature and sour and spoiled tasting and looked old. We returned it. The fried stuff was all really dark but not that crispy or well done, which means OLD old fryer oil (everything was underdone because if you frying anything to done in old dark oil, the food gets bitter.) I felt so strongly about the poor food quality that I called the health department the next week. Their inspection yielded nothing conclusive. But I know what we ate and experienced. We paid $20 to almost get sick.

Went with my fiances family as it used to be a regular place for them five years ago. However, things seemed to have changed in the past five years. This was my first time there and our waiter, though nice, was incredibly forgetful and didnt really attend to our small group of four. Food took nearly an hour to get to our table and everything was small portions for the price. Seemed like they may have had some issues in the kitchen because my cheese steak was barely warm and incredibly dry. I personally wouldnt go again, but Im hoping my experience was a one off. Will give it another shot, another day.

This location is in the midst of transitioning from Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers to Paradise Key. Lately (March 2017), things have been rough. They are adding new menu items in slowly, and it has been hit or miss with the food quality. Karaoke night on Saturday has been a battle between singers and the jukebox. I am friends with the karaoke guy, or I wouldnt frequent this establishment at this time. I am hoping that once the transition has been completed, things will straighten out and the food quality will get better. Why have karaoke if you and your patrons act like they dont want it there.

Chris the cook and Tina our waitress are the only reason that we came back. Last week we had a small issue with the food that came out and first off the cook Chris came out to apologize and to make things right! Then miss Tina made sure that we were taken care of. We came back this week because of what they did, and Chris remembered us to ask if this time we were satisfied. Completely satisfied with both the service and the food. Amazing to have people that care about what they do

Actually its not Cold Beer & Cheeseburgers anymore. Its now Paradise Cove or something like that. Still has all the Cold Beer & Cheeseburgers signage. Food was delicious when we were there this past weekend. I had a cheeseburger, kettle chips, and french fries. The cheeseburger tasted like it was made from fresh ground beef, the fries were fresh cut . Our waitress was very friendly and was working her butt off keeping every body happy. We will definitely go back.

Loaded reviews...this place is awful. After 3 trips trying to like this place Ill never return. 1st trip...10 minutes to get drinks, the food was awful and way overpriced. 2nd time I was talked into going...same experience. 3rd time was just to get drinks and play pool. After sitting at the bar for 15 minutes with NO service we ended up walking out. Sorry, but close it down and put in a quality eatery.

Friendly staff nice setting quick service good food but as a note they advertise free WiFi but there is a catch its only 30 minuets of free WiFi then you have the option to pay 2.95/hr there is also another option if your a time Warner customer but Im not and surely wouldnt use my info to log into at a restaurant where it could be easily stolen

I think this restaurant is in the process of changing ownership. I ordered fish and chips and fried mushrooms as an appetizer and everything was over-fried. Besides my husband and I, the waitress only had 1 other table and we barely saw her. The other table ditched on her. I dont think Ill be back until the transition is complete.

I eat at CBCB every week with my friends. We always get the 1/3 lb cheeseburger, fries and drink special. Burger and fries are always good and staff is very responsive. The price, about the same as a burger combo at the fast food chains.

Some of the best burgers and fries Ive had in a long time. The new ownership has stepped its game up. All fresh food, new items being added to the menu, great drink and food specials and a really friendly atmosphere!
