This used to be one of the best Chinese Restaurants around but we went there about 4 weeks ago and it was HORRIBLE!! The rice and Lo Mein were dry and the meat was tough on some of the dishes others had little to no meat at all and the seasoning was awful. The only thing that tasted good was the Egg Rolls and Sweet and Sour Sauce. We got their Lg Beef Fried Rice, Sweet and Sour Chicken (it was nothing but crust little to no meat), Pepper Steak, Szechuan Chicken, sm Shrimp Fried Frice, 5 egg Rolls. For food that cost well over $50 I would expect a lot better food that this if they dont get it fixed before long they will be closing the doors for good!!!

I have eaten at almost every chinese joint in central ohio, and Rice Bowl is very very good. Decor is outdated, but the food is wonderful. the folks that work there dont fall over themselves with joy but they do provide courteous and professional service. I think Golden chopsticks have the best fried rice and I HATE Ding Ho, and the best asian buffet is Mark Pis Feast of the Dragon. Rice Bowls lo mein and sesame chicken and beef and broccoli dishes are superb. No idea why its getting bad reviews. Sounds like B is a disgruntled neighbor and Eugene should go back to NYC. ;)

Husband got the Sai Wu Gai and the chicken was awful, very tough, rubbery. Mydish on the other hand was phenomenal. We have been eating here for 20+ years and have always enjoyed the food. Howver, the Sai Wu Gai we will not order again. We get it for take out & lately the chicken has been awful! My husband had them re fix his food, but to go. I wasnt finished with my meal yet, the waitress started boxing my food up... We love Connie, but I think our days of eating at this establishment are done!!

My family and I have come to the Rice Bowl for over 25 years now. I compare everywhere else to this place. Whether Im in New York or any where. No one does Wor Sue Gai or Won Ton Soup like the Rice Bowl. Simply the best. Connie, Sim and the entire family treat you like one of their own, not just a customer. I brag about the food everywhere I go. I have even had it shipped to me when I am in DC.

The egg rolls here are amazing. However I ordered general tso chicken with fried rice. My chicken was overcooked and very dry and my rice wasnt that great either. I also found a metal wire, like off of a metal scrubber in my food. I threw it away after that. I still LOVE their egg rolls and will stick with that from now on.

Very good. Connie always says hi with warm smile. Service is good & come hungry - because youll get a large plate of food served. I am the attorney south of here & have known Connie, Sim & others for at least 20yrs (Sorry for that Connie). Great place for business lunch & evening dinner with my wife & family. Dennis

My parents loved the rice bowl and now I take my family there to. Its so nice that they offer American food to for the little kids. Lots of wonderful memories going there with my parents and now new memories with my family. We love the shrimp fried rice. The general tso chicken. Pork chop suey. Just about everything lol.

The Asian food here is some of the best quality to be found in or around Columbus. Similar to the Lucky House in Westerville. A date worthy location that with budget friendly prices. Recommendations for Sweet and Sour Chicken, Spicy Chicken Wings, and Hot and Sour Soup. They also have a decent space for parties.

Everything I have had from this restaurant has been the best Chinese food I have ever had by far compared to any other Chinese restaurant in the Central Ohio area. Everything they offer on the menu is exceptional, and if anyone was to ask me which dish is the best out of all of them, it would be the Wor Sue Gai.

The won ton soup with extra vegetables is excellent. The spring rolls are crispy and delicious. The dining area is comfortable and tastefully decorated. The personnel are pleasant, helpful and neat. Every dish I have eaten there over the past 25 years has been wonderful. Try it, you will like it.

Best Chinese food in Columbus! Amazing egg rolls, duck sauce and spicy mustard, all which are made in house and they use nice big pieces of white meat chicken in their dishes. General tsao and sweet and sour chicken are great, cant go wrong with them and their pork fried rice is amazing!

Wow, this place was unexpectedly great! I wasnt even in the mood for Chinese, and it doesnt look like the worlds most appealing place, but I had some of the chicken lo mein and house chow mein and both were excellent.

Service was great the food was not the best. I ordered wor sue gai and wondered where the lettuce was. The egg role was decent but nothing great. They do give large portions and the price was fair.

been there twice, (thought I would give a second chance) but still, food wasnt good at all, people were rude and the price for what you get is outrageous. Would not refer this place to anyone.

Ordered the General Tso, undoubtedly the worst I have ever had. Tasted like soggy chicken in 2 day old burnt bbq sauce. Served with tiny portion of rice. I will stick with joy lucky next time.

My absolute favorite Chinese food restaurant in south Columbus Ohio. Located at State Route 104 and South High Street, the location is easy to access. The best Won-Ton Soup ever (IMHO).

I have been eating Rice Bowl since I was a very young girl, when the restaurant was in Great Southern Shopping Center. The best ever.
