I never really paid much attention to the way they greet (or did not greet me). I was more concerned with my food. During a lunch special, I realise that the lady at the counter seemed to greet certain individuals with the absence of melanin in a manner that she had never greeted myself and most of the melaninated individuals that I have seen while in the restaurant. I wont complain to them but rather take my business to black-owned establishments who have respect for their people and others. People put their businesses in neighbourhoods that they arent even from and really think the people of that neighbourhood is suppose to accept any kind of customer service they feel like dishing out. Its a damn shame how brainwashed we are but black folk, lets take our businesses where it is appreciated especially to black-owned places that will hire folk who look like us even those with dreadlocks!

Ordered $30.00 worth of food because I was craving some good Chinese food. Too bad everything I ordered was gross. No favor at all and taste like it was cooked in old grease. When I went back to return the food the guy who took my order wanted to argue with me and tell me the food is suppose to taste like grease because its fried. Sorry but I have had some of the best Chinese food and this was disgusting. He had the nerve to tell me he would only give me $10.00 back or I needed to keep the food. Never ever going to eat this trash again!

My family eats here often the service is awesome and fast and normally the food is delicious but today I am not sure what was going on, our food was just not good at all. We ordered the General Tsos Shrimp with extra broccoli and extra spicy. The broccoli tasted old and the shrimp breading was gritty and there was hardly any sauce and it wasnt even spicy. Not sure what was going on but I hope it gets better because their food is really good and they dont deserve 3 stars but today sadly they did.

We order from them at least once a week and love their food! As two John Carroll students who hate eating in their cafeteria, this is a great change. Their coupons help a lot and their food is really fresh. I love their chicken with cashew. I knock one star off because it takes forever to get delivered, but other then that, its really good!

Chinese food in america is nothing like chinese food in china. But for someone looking for the american version, the quality and flavor of #1 express is excellent. This is a take-out place, only a couple tables and no atmosphere. Recommend picking up yourself. Nice family business, excellent food.

The counter was slow, she was grumpy, and not helpful with the menu selection. They do not serve water with the meal unless you buy bottled water. 2 of the 3 meals were over cooked and tough. Their delivery car also blocked the entrance and prevented handicapped cars from parking.

Cashew Chicken was soggy and pretty tasteless. Fried rice smelled as if fry oil had been overused or gone rancid. Pork egg rolls were crisp and hot, but the filling was lifeless. With the exceptional Pearl of the Orient just down the street, I dont think Ill be going back here.

Ordered General Tsos Chicken Combo, Egg Roll, and Won Ton Soup, had it Delivered to my Hotel, they told me 45min and I think it got here in like 25-30min. Great service on the phone. The Food was good and you get alot of food for the price. I will be ordering from them again..
