Honestly...folks..for all you get for the price..especially the lunch prices..its awesome..these folks work hard...to feed us..Im human and I understand how hard it is to please people when it comes to food..oh gosh!!! And the world has unrealistic expectations always...entitlement theory...I appreciate you all..making my food..its awesome..and I know Chinese food..the L26 Garlic Shrimp is wonderful...and Im so happy you dont put an eggroll but a crab Rangoon.I think thats a great touch...If they dont like your food tell them go to Hawkers and get eggrolls sliced on the diagonal and pay $4.00 an eggroll which is the same as yours just on a fancy plate..lol...but they think its different..Thank you for serving me..and Im glad that there are businesses out there that are tough to withstand all the criticism..constant SEO blah blah...its surprising anyone would stay in business...honestly....Its rough out there these days..no one has a life but to bash over food...I hope they dont starve..But I love you guys and I appreciate you delivering the food to me..and its hot and fresh each time..

My gf ordered the teriyaki chicken which shes orders all the time from different places and has never had it taste quite like this. She said its always the same maybe a little different but always sweet and thats what she was expecting, but when it got here it had a spicy aftertaste and really wasnt sweet at all. Also we did order other things and the other things wete fine no complaints. Heres the kicker though when she called to complain she told them that she was unhappy and didnt like it she asked for a credit for next time and she would just try something different and she would have been just fine with a credit but the guy she spoke to said "he didnt want to deal with her next time that he would just send her the money back for the chicken". When they came to refund her they also said they wanted to get the chicken back which upset her even more. They were rude and not very understanding, they definitely did not treat a customer who was willing to come back like they wanted her too. I wouldnt suggested this place to anyone.

Today I ordered "B" ( fried scallops). Took one bite to learn they are not real. Took it apart to find a rolled up something. My cat wont even eat it. Stopped ordering chicken long ago because it has no consistency of chicken. Called to complain. Asked for manager. The male who answered claimed he was manager. His defence was the spelling of Scallops. Skallops. Beware of the food you order and what you actually get. Waisted $4.75 + tax + delivery. Also ordered a shrimp roll, it was greasy and a bit under cooked. The fried vegetable dumplings were good and also undercooked. Have ordered delivery for a couple of years now but it just gets worse and worse. Never again will I be ordering from China Joy on Margaret St, in Downtown Jacksonville. Checked out the restaurant report from the Health Department. It was not good. 7 violations.

Under-cooked spring rolls (Cold interior - Not luke-warm, COLD) and weird chicken nuggets that I suspect are pre-cooked, warmed when needed, and used in all of their chicken dishes were what I experienced when I ate here the other day. The staff was nice, but the food was merely "OK" if you arent willing to leave the neighborhood for Chinese. Personally, I am trying to find a Chinese restaurant with awesome food anywhere in the entire metro area. The P.F. Changs here is awful (flavorless meal - I didnt even know it was possible), the one or two other small restaurants Ive tried were only slightly above Panda Express in quality, and this restaurant had been recommended. Needless to say, the search continues... :/

I dont like giving bad reviews mainly because its a matter of perception..however I must share my opinion of my meal. on 1/6/2016 at approximately 1250, I ordered the General Tso chicken from the lunch menu. I am thoroughly disgusted at the service and the quality of my meal. The flavor is is lackluster, no spice to speak of , I can only taste sweetness. But the main problem is the freshness of the chicken. I was chewing on a piece of meat that tasted rancid. I will NEVER, EVER eat their again. Will stick to Hot Wok. Just as a sidenote.. the employees did not wear gloves and touched the food with their bare hands!!!

We had to go back because they screwed up our order, gave us chicken instead of tofu and overcharged a few dollars. It would have been fine except while making our corrected order, I watched the cook drop a pot and utensil on the floor and PICK IT RIGHT BACK UP AND USE IT AGAIN. He looked around and noticed me staring at him in shock and did not look up again while we were there. Needless to say, we did not eat the food. Absolutely disgusting, it was our first time there and we will not ever go back.

Ordered delivery last night. BYFAR, the worst chinese experience I have ever had. We ordered 4 combos, that supposedly came with fried rice/egg roll - for $6.95-7.50 each, quart wonton and crab rangoon. 1.They forgot the eggrolls and rice on all four meals. 2.The wonotn was the worst ever - watered down 3.The bill came to $46 - We thought that was high but, we were hungry. After adding the bill, it should have been $36 - not $46 And we left a $7 tip.... NEVER AGAIN! NEVER!

Ive been going here for years and its always been good. I would pass many similar restaurants to go here. My last 3 visits I have noticed a huge difference. I dont wish for them to close, but would like the old recipes back. The breeding is to thick, the sauces to watery, there are to many fillers, and the rice to dry. Some of this could be overlooked if the price wasnt premium.

I dont know what the complaints are are about with some of the customers, Ive been patronizing them for years and never, ever had a problem with service or their food. In fact their food reminds of the great Chinese food we get in Newyork. Delicious each and every time! If you dont like it find another place and stop crying like babies. Wah! Wah! Wah! Suck it up!

The young woman that took my order over the phone was so polite and helpful. My Orange chicken was excellent! I ordered it extra spicy and the heat level was right on point! My only complaint is that the fried chicken wings were not good at all. They were scrawny and flavorless. However, Ill still order again because the orange chicken was awesome!

My first visit and I ordered to go. I was pleasantly surprised by the lunch prices. The lobby / restaurant was packed with people waiting for to go orders. Ordering around 12:30pm, it still only took about 10 minutes and I was out the door. The staff were very nice and the food was good.

Roach in my food! Completely discussing! I went in person, ordered the beef lo mein lunch special, got back to work and transferred the food from the container to a plastic plate and lo and behold, a medium sized cockroach in my meal! I will never order from China Joy again! Never!
