A coworker told me to stop by here on lunch since I wanted a damn good reuban. I stopped in and was greeted by a friendly staff that upon hearing I was a first timer insisted I wait to order until they could make me a sample tray of their 3 specialty sandwiches and a plain sample of their corned beef. I wound up ordering the reuban on rye and a drink and chips. When I was paying Pierre was extremely friendly and sincere in thanking me for giving them a try. I went to write in a tip on my debit card and he insisted that I not tip them because "you are breaking bread with us". He then gave me a menu and said if I call ahead of lunch next time hell have my order ready to go. Sandwich, drink, and all. Ive never been treated so well by a business, and I would be willing to declare this is the best damned reuban Ive had since moving to Cuyahoga from Florida. Not eating here at least once is a disservice to yourself.

My boyfriend and I were just passing through Cleveland and looking for a quick bite to eat. We spotted Express Deli and decided to give it a try. Upon arriving to the deli, the owner saw us looking over the menu and asked us if we had been here before. When we told him we hadnt, he immediately told us to hang on while he made us a sample plate. He provided us with four things to sample (all of which were absolutely delicious) we both ended up choosing a wrap based on the amazing samples we had tried. This deli shop not only has amazing food, but the service we received was outstanding. It was definitely one of the highlights of our time spent in Cleveland. Next time were in Cleveland, we will be sure to stop in again!! Thanks again for the great experience Express Deli. From, Two very satisfied Canadians!

Great find! I came in for the first time and Mike rolled out the red carpet. He walked me through the menu and sampled out a ton of stuff. I didnt believe service like this existed anymore. He truly takes pride in his work and the sandwiches he creates show it. Looking forward to my future visits. Stop reading reviews and just go. Go! Why are you still reading this? Really? K bye.

Stumbled upon this place while travelling through Cleveland. Pierre (the face of Express Deli) made us feel like family. He and his wife are some of the most genuine and nicest people I have ever met, and has a serious passion for what he does. Most importantly, their food is absolutely phenomenal! Highly recommend!

Friendly staff, best deli in northeast ohio. Just off 480 (brookpark exit) & 71 (w150). Corned beef wrap is top notch. Have yet to have anything that isnt top notch. Pierre is the nicest person Ive have ever meet.
