The owners spent months and months transforming a sad convenience store with curling linoleum into a lovely and graceful Gem of a place. We are SO lucky to have this imaginative market here in Howey in the Hills,FL. In addition to the items listed by reviewer Jen B, they have Florida grafted roses, lots and lots of other plants, metal birds of several sizes, including a seven foot tall rooster! Even in a small space, the owners make an effort to offer options for various budgets. If you do not see it, ask. Several times Ive thought "well they dont have this." Then I asked and what I needed was there. Thanks for your labor of love that brought this store to Howey!

My husband and I had just finished a 2 mile walk from our home and decided to stop at the market and buy a couple of bottled waters. Our next door neighbor had told us how nice the store had turned out so we decided to stop in. We walked in, and recognized one of our neighbors and said hello. My husband and I were the only 2 people in the store at the time and the clerk, Sandy (the snob) did not welcome us to the new store or even say, hello! She just watched us! I would have thought since the store had just opened, the clerk would have welcomed everyone that came into the store. One thing I know for sure is that word of mouth can go along way!

With a great beer and wine selection, fresh produce and taste bud tempting deli choices, as well as an assortment of gifts and convenience items, The Howey Market is a most wonderful and welcomed addition to Howey-in-the-Hills. Owned and run by one of the nicest families weve ever met, Howey Market will be our go-to-stop for breakfast or lunch and fresh veggies from now on during our weekly trips through town. Absolutely amazing. I live in the area and it is the most convenient and friendly place I have been to in a long time. They have almost EVERYTHING you need and then some. Great for anyone who loves food, fresh produce, beer, wine, unique finds, or all of the above. The staff makes you feel like you are part of the family and recognizes you upon your next visit. Wow, is not the best to describe this priceless store over in the Howey-In-The-Hills. A Great location with a super amazing establishment. With the best staff that will amaze you ever time. This Mom and Pop store was a delight to visit after accidentally getting off of the Turnpike at the wrong exit. This place had an amazing beer selection and the ability to mix-and-match 6 packs. They also make a mean hot pressed italian sub. Thank you Howey Market of the 34737, for making my misled adventure to central Florida one to remember.

What an adorable market with friendly service! A well stock of the necessities & unique finds as well. I was thrilled with the Cherry Cider, yummy pears, bacon donut and pumpkins I purchased. This is a wonderful market to grab a sandwich or a dozen eggs. Specialty bottled beverages are available which put it a notch above any standard quick stop. I love the organics and handmade items also. I hear the ice cream is delicious too :)
