Came here on a Wednesday evening at 7PM. When we arrived the building was somewhat empty but quickly filled to capacity. The inside of this restaurant is very small, but features a dining area and bar. Again, seating is very limited so I would recommend reserving reservations in advance. Service here was good, no doubt, but there was a language barrier present, between all staff members. Our server was also M.I.A for most of our time spent here, as well. We actually had to seek him out at one point, just to order a drink. The food on the other hand was easily a 5/5. Banana Blossom is one of those kinds of restaurants where you would least expect phenomenal cuisine. Its very inconspicuous and located near a Lutheran branch of the Cleveland Clinic on Clevelands west side. Banana Blossom is definitely a hidden gem. I ordered the trout, spicy papaya salad, and crab rangoons. I paired this meal with lychee martini, complete with fresh lychee fruit! I was very impressed with the food here. Highly recommended. The cook knows what theyre doing.

Found this restaurant on a whim and have been going back ever since. The Pad See Ew is so good that when its nice out, Ill order ahead of time, ride my bike there, and eat right on the sidewalk. Always has people there when I go, but wait time hasnt been a problem. The pricing is a little more expensive though because even though they do have a take out option, its more of a restaurant than like any other Asian food place thats specifically take out. Still, you wont go broke trying to feed your date as well. Plus, the food is way better.

I used to live in Los Angeles and would frequent Thai Town. Banana Blossom is authentic and would fit right in! From crispy spring rolls to savory curries and killer Pad Thai, Banana Blossom boasts a full menu of excellent dishes. Try their Peach Iced Tea or one of their other house cocktails, too! Highly recommended!

July 22 2013....read good reviews, drove up from Richfield to sample the restaurant and visit West Side Market. Lunch was SOOO good, had the green curry with pork. Also discovered I really like Thai beer, especially the Chang Thai beer. If you like eastern (Indian, Thai, Chinese) food, you will love this place.

They seem to make some legit Thai food. Granted I am not an expert on Thai cuisine. However, I have tried many different Thai places and this is my favorite. They really so dial up the spice when you ask for it at 4 or 5. Some places still keep the spice level too toned down for my tastes.

Banana Blossom is a great stop for lunch if you work in the city or near Ohio City. My husband and I frequently stop by and are in and out in less than an hour. The service is friendly, the food is good, and the atmosphere is nice. We typically split the Spicy Pad Thai.

Dishes are very tasty, cooked with the fresh ingredients, flavored with all sorts of herbs, spices... Too bad most of the orders are take outs. Place is not your hippest looking but is clean and server is very attentive. Definitely worth your trip.

This place has pretty solid Thai food, and I LOVED the pad Thai I ate on my last visit. Their curries are very tasty as well! I would say this is probably a hair above 3 stars, but I round up to four because it is a short walk from my house! Heh.

Great food and great service! Have had Thai food at a lot of places and this ranks up there with some of the best. The outside doesnt say much but inside its a really nice ambience. Will definitely go here again next time Im in town.
