I love their food but was really pissed off when I tried to place a delivery order . I asked when was the cut off time to place a delivery order , the young lady stated 7:30Pm I said thats great since it was only 7::14 Pm, so she confirmed with a guy in the back he said yes I could place my order for delivery . Once asked my address he then said tell her No I wont deliver. Now Im pissed I just had a total knee replacement 5 days ago!!! . Guess Ill stop sending people there . Yet I have been a Loyal customer for the past 6 years at other Cincinnati locations I guess They felt like I was too far away when Im less than 2 miles away and have ordered & had them deliver to me Many times. In the past.

BEWARE of Foreign owned restaurants posing as authentic soulfood. I went in to Hook today for my first time. It was an awful experience. Not only was I was not only overcharged for the 2 Gyros ordered being made into Gyro Platters to drive my check, but the Persian gentleman waiting on me noticed that I was in a hurry and almost made it obvious to work slower. It was laughable enough to have me writing this. In fact the cook actually walked out to take a smoke break as I waited & I was the only person in there. Then the gentleman acted as if the sodas that came with the platter meal which I paid for but didnt order were thrown in for free because of my wait.

Their delivery service is bad. I counted my money out 2x before they came and they tried to say (after they pulled of) that I owe them $2 the next time I order. I will not be ordering from them again.
