Terrible service, very disappointed in how they handled messing up my order. I come there all the time and get the same exact thing and when I didnt get the usual rice that comes with the order, they made it seem as though it was my fault I didnt get it and didnt offer to help remedy the situation. Will not be returning. Update- upon trying to reconcile, because the food is delicious and one of the only Indian restaurants that have a vegan option, not only did I end up not having the issue corrected but I ended up paying $3 more for the EXACT same thing and was told I hadnt been charged enough in the past. Why should I have to pay for something that I am getting less than any else is getting. Here is my consistent order: curry sauce, no veggies only sauce made with coconut cream = $10.99 Price for curry with veggies = $10.99 How are they the same price??? And curry with chicken is $11.99, something is very wrong with this picture. WILL NOT RETURN. Anywhere else I go in the city, they will not charge the same price for a dish with LESS food.

I had been a faithful patron of the previous restaurant to occupy the space where Grill of India now resides. I continued to eat at this space even after Grill of India took over, mostly out of habit. One evening, my five year old and I had dinner at Grill of India. Unfortunately, my child became ill and vomited on the floor. I alerted an employee, paid the bill and hustled my sick and embarrassed son out of the restaurant. Several weeks later, we returned to Grill of India to have dinner. Upon paying the bill, a manager pulled me aside and scolded me for my child becoming sick in his restaurant during our previous visit. He was not joking. Im not certain what his goal was, but the experience was humiliating and I felt harassed. Needless to say, we will not be returning to Grill of India.

The restroom was very dirty and smelled awful not cleaned at all. The service was horrible. The lady didnt understand when we ordered. We ask for extra raisins in are Nan and they did not do that. Plus we ordered a drink I ask for a double shot and the shot was so small it was crazy. This was my first time at this place and my last. Then the guy who i take as the boss was very very rude to us. The guy didnt try to fix the issue so we say this will be the last time there he says "oh thats your choice". So my advise to anyone thinking of trying this place out Dont. Save your money and your breath from fussing with a person the boss guy who does not care about hes customers at all. The worst thing about this experience is that he did not know who I was. 7/15/2015

The food is ok, not terrible, not great. The service for delivery though is horrible!!! Ive ordered twice now and both times they have "lost" my number and address. So waiting 1.5hr each time I call, they say they didnt have any way to contact me, submit the order again, and it finally arrives 3+hours after initial order. The second time they actually accused me of submitting a false order and not wanting to pay....even though I was calling, asking where the order was and gave them our card info again (??). They were very rude and hung up on me. Order arrived an hour later. So in summary, food is ok, decent. Service is absolutely terrible, especially for delivery. If youre thinking about having dinner delivery, best order at breakfast time that day.

As an avid foodie, we stopped in for our first visit here. The location appears to be a former pub turned Indian Restaurant. Food is pretty common Northern Panjabi India district food. The food was hot and fresh during our entire 45min visit with constant small refills of each item. The wait staff was out going and friendly with more than just our server engaging us with conversation. Plates never sat on our table more than 90 seconds once finished. Should we have the opportunity to stop in again, I will update this review! EDIT: Ah! I missed one of my favorite points. Frequently restaurants that serve this same style food tend to be overly salty. I was pleasantly surprised that I did not notice a salty taste to the food. Thank you for that!

Ive been here many times & was satisfied. However, I had a very unpleasant experience & I will NEVER go back. As I was eating, I noticed something foreign as in it shouldnt be on my plate. When I managed to look closely, it was a very black hair & clearly not mine. I told the manager who said its not my fault. I was waiting for him to offer to a free meal but he didnt. I paid for this meal & made it clear that I will NEVER eat there again. He was rude. Maybe it hasnt gotten through his turban that in America, customer service is very important & businesses sometimes have to suck it up. He had no concern for how I felt so toodles to him & in this economy hell need a lot of help.

Had ordered for take out and the younger guy and a woman were friendly and the take out was good/tasted authentic. Took a chance afterwards on their lunch buffet and was disappointed; the cust serv wasnt friendly as w the first visit and, although they advertise that the lunch buffet ends at 3, they probably stop putting food out around 2 or 145. It was pretty much all gone around 2p w no suggestion that anything else was coming out. I understand that you dont want to waste food, but just shut it down or tell customers that the buffet closed early? Also, the inside seriouslh needs some updates/repairs, especially the celing.

Ordered delivery on a weeknight, was told to expect 30-60 minutes and instead it took 2 hours. This was a special occasion, celebrating my daughters 16th birthday with her favorite food. Very embarrassing to not have anything for her to eat. I will not give this restaurant my business again for this disappointment, and I would recommend that no one ever use them for delivery. I called several times only to be told the driver was on his way. First at 75 mins and again at 90 mins. I live 3.5 miles from the place and they restrict delivery to a 5 minute radius.....no way it should take 2 hours. AVOID

Ordered take-out. All of the other restaurants in this area will give you mint chutney with your order if you ask...so I assumed that that would be the case here. Upon asking for just a single mint chutney, the woman on the phone gave me attitude as if I was in the wrong. It totally caught me off guard. If they want to charge me for chutney then tell me and Ill pay! No big deal! Instead she acted like I was out of line for even asking. Will be taking my money elsewhere in the future. Two stars because the food isnt bad. Service: terrible Food: its ok, there are better places in the area though.

Most delicious indian cusine in Cincinnati. I am eating out since many years. I have been in restaurants all over the world. As someone with so much experience and heightened sense of taste buds and services, about Amol India all I can say is, that this restaurant deserves FIVE STARS because they are truly excellent in deliciousness of the food, price, and services they provide. I wish there would be more restaurants everywhere with such quality of excellence. Short, great Food, Price, and Services. If you like to enjoy any meal truly, this is the place to dine in like kings and quens. Enjoy :)
